The good: better experience than most American carriers flying overseas. I also like how many planes have the 2-3- seating configuration. Be sure to track their sales. I spent spring break in Greece from Atlanta for about $550 with a sale they ran in August. The bad: horrible chat service. I spent an hour trying to get through the useless ai helper just to get passed around for a very simple problem-seats. 3 of the 4 human agents I dealt with were hopeless in resolving an easy-to-fix situation. The app also says you can change seats but is also unhelpful. Also note they do not offer free snacks on intl flights like most overseas flights. Congratulations on saving $2? UPDATE: after buying a ticket back in August and reserving 2 seats on the 2-4-2 side, I got rebooked automatically and I lost my seats. I have contacted customer service 4 times and they are unable to resolve my seat issue. I have downgraded them from 4 to 2 stars. There should be an easy way to get my original seats I paid extra for months ago

I had an absolutely horrible experience with this airline. The customer service was beyond disappointing, the ticket agents were rude, unhelpful, and acted like they couldn’t care less. The flight attendants weren’t any better; they ignored passengers, never smiled, and seemed completely miserable to be there. On top of that, I was shocked to find out that they actually charge for soft drinks and even water on a flight that was over eight hours long. It’s ridiculous and feels like they’re cutting corners at every turn. The whole experience was uncomfortable, frustrating, and unprofessional from start to finish. I would never recommend this airline, especially for a long flight. Save yourself the headache and choose literally any other carrier. This was the worst airline I’ve ever flown with.

DISGUSTING SERVICE OR FFRAUD FROM THE COMPANY? NEVER ANYMORE with SAS! SAS Airline cancelled my return flight SK930 on 06/09/25, Atlanta-Copenhagen, based on, (according to SAS), my absence on my incoming flight SK929 on 09/03/24 to Atlanta from Copenhagen. But I went through CBP control at the US port of entry immediately after arrival. The Support told me that boarding pass can be counterfeited and is not proof of my presence on the flight. I can't get through to the SAS office. I bought my tickets with eDreams Agency, paid the money and now I need to fly and no one wants to deal with this problem. eDreams Agency tells - go SAS, SAS tells - go eDreams. The SAS Airlines Back Office phone in the US is answered by a saxophone. I have to wait many hours for a response in the SAS Airlines Support chat. And the Agent said me -"Call to Backoffice" The Support of the eDreams travel agency has withdrawn from solving this problem.

OK, you win. After a MONTH of trying to contact SAS and using the dumb chat bot, I'm done. My first unanswered international call was dropped after 15 minutes on hold. I spent another HOUR AND A HALF on hold listening to your upbeat jazz music. It does not work and I now hate jazz. I only called to buy another seat. I'm literally trying to give you more money but you can't be bothered. No I can't do this online regardless of what your website says. I should have chosen KLM or United.

As someone who has flown on numerous other airlines, and also flown SAS at least a dozen times, I feel I can say: SAS is the gold standard for me. I only wish other airlines were half as good. I flew from Stockholm, and Amsterdam - to cities in the West Coast area of the US.
