Attended the annual 2021 Wheels Up Air and Car Show with a concert

San Marcos airport is a Smaller multi runway airport with a ton of amenities. Berry FBO is awesome. They provide decently priced fuel from the Truck or Self-serv. There’s a pilot lounge, decent vending, and access to all the major ride share apps. If you like old planes from the world wars, check out the Commemorative Air Force, located on the southern end of the field. There are a ton of flight schools, Specialized Flight Training, Texas state aviation, and Coast. There is a DPE based onsite, and there is a handful of awesome Maintenance facilities.

Very spacious and peaceful. I truly believe that my first time on a non commercial flight was as wonderful as it was, not only because of the pilot, but because of the venue.
