This airport is so well organized. I could not believe how quiet this place was. I heard very few loud blaring announcements. Even the bars were quiet. The bathrooms were also well kept. TSA was a breeze even with the Gov shutdown. Uber and Lyft pickup points were simple and efficient.

💚 Attractive airport with fun displays. Pleasant environment to spend some time. 💚 Simple, spoke and wheel layout is easy to follow. 💚 IMO, good selection of restaurants. 💚 Large, clean restrooms. 💚 The best—and most advanced—water bottle filling stations I’ve seen to date. ⛔️ The trains connecting terminals are landside only. (Pedestrian connections are available airside, though.)

Highly Impressed! San Francisco International Airport is a surprisingly seamless experience for travelers. The terminals are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, making navigating through security and gates effortless. Signage is clear, the layout is intuitive, and there’s a sense of efficiency that keeps the stress of travel to a minimum. From dining options to lounges, SFO feels polished and well thought-out—perfect for starting or ending a trip on a high note. ✈️

Well-designed, modern airport that's easy to navigate, with clear signage and efficient layouts across its terminals. The architecture is sleek and spacious, featuring natural light, art installations, and eco-friendly design. Staff are generally friendly and helpful.

It’s a nice airport with plenty of concessions and gift shops to visit. We had a layover here but our plane was delayed causing us to miss the next flight. We stayed here almost seven hours to have lunch, drinks, and plenty of snacks.

The SFO Internal Airport is built with new terminal and even museums. Very spacious. However, the route and checking account is somehow hard to identify. There are some duty-free shopping, but no too much choice!

A quick two-hour layover at San Francisco International Airport reminded me why this city has its own effortless charm — even in transit. The airport feels clean, bright, and just very San Fran: a little artsy, a little cool, and a lot organized. I loved the fact that they provide water refill stations for travelers — such a thoughtful, sustainable touch. The only problem? Me. 😅 I still haven’t mastered the art of drinking tap water in the U.S., so I ended up buying one of those sleek stainless steel bottles for five dollars. My wallet cried a little, but my inner aesthetic lover said, well, at least it’s pretty. Seating areas are spacious and comfortable, plenty of power outlets (my favorite kind of airport happiness), and the Wi-Fi works smoothly. There are lots of food options too, though the prices are unapologetically “San Francisco.” I grabbed a quick Japanese meal — decent taste, slightly steep price, but fine for killing time. What caught my attention most was the staff at the restaurant — likely Chinese — chatting so loudly across the counter that it echoed through the space. I couldn’t help thinking, maybe airports should include a small “social etiquette” orientation for all concession workers. After all, travelers come in tired and quiet; not everyone wants their ramen served with background shouting. 😅 Or maybe it’s just me who’s the odd one here — maybe they’re perfectly normal, and I’m just too used to gentle voices and calm spaces. Either way, it’s all part of the travel fun.

This is the cleanest airport bathroom I have ever seen! Great experience here, there are never wait times and always enough security. They also have Proper Food, but at terminal b only! Terminal B has the best shops and the rest of the terminals are not as great. Good experience and good airport .

I don’t usually write airport reviews—mostly because airport experiences tend to be pretty mid-level and not exactly something worth raving about. But on a rare, almost “too good to be true” occasion, when an airport gets everything right, you’ve gotta give them their recognition. And this time, SFO crushed it. Not sure if it was the magic of an early Sunday morning flight or what, but the entire experience was eerily beyond pleasant. From the moment we were dropped off at Terminal 3, Door 5 for our United flight, everything just… flowed. TSA? Took all of two minutes—yes, I timed it because I didn’t believe it myself. And then the United Lounge and boarding process? Smooth, seamless, and honestly flowed like a perfectly poured stream of Screaming Eagle! Overall, it was such a wonderful, unusually smooth experience that SFO deserves real praise. Here’s hoping they keep this momentum and continue raising the bar. Well done, SFO.

San Francisco International Airport, befitting its status as one of the top-ranked airports in the United States, receives numerous flights from all over the world. In particular, there are a significant number of flights arriving from Asia. It is considered one of the busiest airports in the United States in terms of passenger traffic. It is a key hub airport for United Airlines, one of the three major US airlines, and also a hub airport for Alaska Airlines, a regional airline serving the US Pacific coast. Although not widely known, it holds the title of being the first airport to install an aircraft passenger boarding bridge. Because the airport is generally located south of San Francisco, getting here from Oakland or across the Golden Gate Bridge can be somewhat challenging.

We landed here at EGates and found a robotic coffee machine for various coffee concoctions and matchas but no teas The signage is airport is very good, large signs dark background with large light colored letters. Fairly easy to get around. Large long comfy sofas in a shape for some privacy. Wide accessible walkways that were not crowded on a Thursday afternoon.

one of the best airports i have been to, does not feel claustrophobic at all compared to others due to the natural light. the service was a bit slow but the staff were friendly. the airport also has a museum detailing the history of the city and various aircraft models too. there are also small art installations around, which in my opinion gives it a nice charm. would recommend flying in or out of here again.
