Very easy to get to and very easy to get around whether it was parking or getting checked in very smooth and the people are very very helpful. Definitely a small system where you can get immediate assistance if you need it, they were very understanding as my daughter was flying for the first time at age 15 without me. It was just a really good experience overall.

This is the best airport experience I've ever had. It's quick and easy to use, it's not congested, and, this last trip, was more economical for us. I highly recommend flying out of Salina!

SANDY WAS THE WORST.. I am a mom traveling with a young child! Sandy happens to be the supervisor and has the WORST customer service skills out of anyone I have ever met. My daughter and I traveled here from Alabama and had no issues getting here, getting our bags here etc. But going back home through Salina was an experience I don’t recommend to anyone traveling with young kids!! Go to Manhattan, go to Wichita, go to KC! The other woman at the front counter was willing to help and because I didn’t have enough time to sit there and argue with Sandy at United I ended up paying over $150 for checked bags when the bags were just fine on our way here. Sandy tried to say that it was company policy, which I could respect if the company policy was similar just four days prior, but it wasn’t and it seemed like something she was enforcing. I have already filed a report with United and am waiting to hear back!! I hope you never have to interact with Sandy, and I hope United provides her with customer service training!!! Picture included! Somehow I paid for 3 checked bags even though our first said it was free 😑 which would imply that I should of paid for 1 bag..

The TSA agent at departure security was terribly rude, making a point to single me out and embarrass me with no provocation as if he had a personal vendetta. Though I quickly and quietly removed my shoes following his instruction, he made loud, disparaging comments to the other agent and those in line. Most airports do not require shoe removal for TSA precheck customers, and I'd even been handed a laminated paper minutes prior by another agent that instructed me to leave them on, hence my confusion. Though it's small and convenient, I would not recommend this airport unless you're seeking abuse.

Great small airport. Friendly staff. Quick TSA security. Easy access parking.
