Good condition runways and Apron area, simple original lounge (near flagpole) very nice Ponderosa aviation- FBO with great lounge and pilot services. Honor system snack bar. Reasonable fees for aircraft. (See photos)

I will never support an airport that uses ADS-B data to collect fees.

Safford started charging a landing fee, even for single engine GA planes. They recently updated their policy to only apply fees to planes over 4000 pounds, using Vector to collect the fees. Vector uses ADSB data to do this, which goes against everything ADSB was supposed to be about. I won’t support any airport that uses Vector or ADSB to collect fees. It used to be a good airport, but it’s time to take our business elsewhere now. I recommend you do the same. Plenty of other good airports nearby that value GA. Cochise Country (Willcox) is very nice and just minutes away.

Great airport in the Gila Valley. The runways are well maintained, and the FBO has a courteous staff. There are good nechanics and avionics facilities at the airport. The downsides are that the airport is located away from town and although there are courtesy vehicles, they're not well maintained.
