I did 2 solo cross-country flights here. It's usually pretty easy, and the Allentown approach controllers will hand you off seamlessly to Reading approach and then to tower. There is one tower controller who has a nasty attitude though and is not patient with students- just fyi. If a pilot is asking for you to call their turns for landing, they're trying to make sure they don't screw anything up in the pattern because they're new, not because they want to make the controller's job deliberately harder. Also of note- all 4 times I've flown in here, they've been using runway 31. The approach has a fairly large hill/mountain in the way, so you have to get creative with a steep decent. It's a long runway at least.

Have been there a number of times for WWII weekend always a good time . Great to see reenactors and miitary vehile restored. Various aircraft as well

I go here every year for the WWII Weekend. Yesterday they hosted President Trump. It was awesome!!

I have rented a car from the Avis service at the airport several times and Giselle always takes such good care of us! When we were left stranded (no thanks to a certain pay to ride service) after returning our car, she showed us great compassion and customer service by calling us a ride through another service!
