Great experience. The United and TSA agents are delightful and very polite. Check in was easy and quick. There is a small kiosk with snacks and the honor system.

such a cute and quaint little airport. the tsa folks were a bit much, so that’s why just a four-star. the honour system snack bar is amazing, i wish there were more like it in the world. the gate staff and flight attendant and pilots were all totally swell. the walk from the terminal to the plane is so fun and adorable. silly that so many folks have been complaining about the parking lot, it’s not bad or confusing at all.

Great upgrade from the older airport. Clean facilities, nice people, even TSA staff looks human… the only negative aspect is the lack of a good cafeteria at this place. You can walk to the older building to get food but there is a need to have something in the new place.

I was a bit nervous since this was my first time at a small airport; but it was actually a really awesome experience. Being dropped off is easy, the team at the airport is super nice, the TSA reps aren’t pushy like those at larger airports, snack bar is nice, and there are several stations for charging ones mobile devices. Boarding the plane is also a bit odd - one actually goes on the Tarmac; which was awesome and something I’ve always wanted to experience. There are services that aren’t available, such as being able to choose from a wider selection of rental cars or being able to relax in the United Club or other lounge; but that’s not needed or missed since the airport is small, not super busy, and overall a nice relaxing experience.

If you come here with children beware the TSA agents. I tried to show the female TSA agent the digital boarding passes for myself and my son and she waved me off. Then, when my son approached her podium and she immediately got irate, stood up, and got into my child's face demanding his boarding pass as I stood behind her with it in my hand. He literally cowered away from her as she was being so aggressive. Its not like he was ignoring her either. He was following me and had nothing in his hands nor was he saying anything. After I finally got her to stop he hid behind me until we got through the metal detector. Then, after scanning his bag, they claimed an empty container was a weapon and searched his bag by pulling everything out and finding nothing. Instead of apologizing to him for the false accusation, they pushed the bag at him and said "Go!" to him. Seriously? Is this where they send all the agents that get in trouble other places? Because the power trips here are all too intense. Personally, I'm going to fly out of Phoenix from now on. I have no desire to endanger my child around TSA agents on a power trip and who abuse their power. Much less ones that make attempts to get in children's faces and become physically aggressive.
