Premier Health & Fitness Center is hands-down one of the best gyms in Tallahassee! The facility is always clean, well-organized, and has everything you need β from top-notch weight and cardio equipment to group classes and a great pool. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The trainers are knowledgeable and always willing to help you with form or a workout plan.

29sept25: I have decided to give Premier Gym a try, I paid for the Summer membership from June to September 2025. I was drawn to this gym because I had heard it had swimming pools, I love to swim. My experience: I enjoyed this gym, the staff is mostly friendly as you enter the building and throughout. I have to give shout-outs to the young woman (worked in the early mornings, has braids I believe) and the young man (tall with brown hair) who always said hello to me and answered any questions I had. Also, shout-out to the gym cleaner also friendly and said hello (chatted about our beautiful Black Natural hair). Pros -- the two swimming pools, I loved swimming and thank you to the lifeguard and a couple of frequent swimmers answering my questions on improving my swimming technique. Variety of areas to the fitness gym to workout. Clean gym. Good customer service. I love the exercise equipment Jacob's Ladder, first time seeing it and I used it consistently. Steam room and Sauna are comfortable (twice utilized). The run/jog track is great condition (be careful because individuals just walk in any of the lanes instead of following the lane rules, I run and sprint as well as do another movement on the track so those individuals move out of the way soon, ha!). Cons -- the swimming pool with the lanes constantly busy so I work out early morning and had to jump in the pool immediately when the building opened then go workout in the gym afterwards, all before I dressed and went to work. Also, no coverage for pools so weather conditions would close the pools often. The exercise equipment is decent condition and some need updates. Gym hours is not helpful to someone like me who works full-time employment, I would have liked a couple of days with 24/7 hours. Gym location is far so it cuts into my fitness time as well as work time. The Premier Gym app is decent, needs more interactive improvement. I am a USAF active duty Veteran and no discount provided. Overall review -- the main thing is the cost of this gym compared to my pros and cons is not worth it for me. Out of five stars, I give it a 3 and a half. Thank you, Tara G.

Always clean, great staff and trainers. I love that there are so many different ways to work out here. Great variety of free weights and machines. Highly recommend for every age group.

The front desk dude was cool and the guy from the the tour was nice. But whoever decided to give military discount ONLY to active duty is not the smartest. What place doesnβt give military discount to veterans, reservists, or national guard when thereβs not even an active military base nearby? EMT and First Responders get one, but not a veteran? Gym was equivalent to Leach from FSU if you couldnβt make it down there, but at $60 a month at the cheapest option.
