Holy crap!! That was so fun!! And freaking HUGE shout out to Derek. Oh my gosh. Took so much time with us (okay, me) and was so chill, helpful, friendly and fun and went above and beyond. Seriously, thank you. Weโre so excited to see how they turn out! Highly recommend.

Pottery Night SLC has become one of my favorite places in Salt lake in a matter of months! I started coming here in December 2023 because I wanted to learn a new hobby! I am not super artistic aside from occasional painting and have loved learning to work with my hands and play with clay! The open studio team - especially Ian and Linda, have been the best teachers ever. It is such a great deal to purchase an open studio pass and clay, and have free instruction! I have take ~3 classes or so from them which has helped a lot as well. I love how the community there is supportive, welcoming and so friendly. Great place to go to meet new friends, learn a new hobby, or just put your headphones in, play with pottery and unwind. The studio is so bright and happy and coming to pottery is now a highlight of my month! Great place for beginners and experts alike.

My husband planned a birthday party here with friends and we did the beginners bowl class. It was not only so much fun but the staff is so friendly and accomodating! It is now my new favorite thing and I can't wait to go back and try to improve with their expert instruction! Thank you for making my birthday so memorable!

Can't even begin to describe the relief my heart experienced in this Studio, as I got to pry my two pre-teen young men from their screens for an afternoon and witness them work with their hands. It was magic seeing them drop into the zone, creating. They didn't want to stop. The space was accommodating for my children, and the instruction was absolutely top notch. Huge shoutout to Ian, and everyone else involved with this SLC hidden gem.
