Clean, Organized, and Hassle-Free! I had a great experience at Portland Jetport (PWM) in Maine during a domestic flight. The airport is very clean and well-organized. Parking is easy and close to the terminal. TSA security was quick, professional, and courteous. Overall, a smooth and stress-free travel experience — highly recommended!

Small airport — easy to navigate and convenient overall. However, Southwest’s customer service was disappointing during my visit. Also, there was a noticeable unpleasant smell in the terminal, which I later realized came from temporary bathrooms between the gates — hoping its temporary construction.

The streamlined rental return process was a positive aspect of our experience. However, our travel plans were significantly impacted by a two-hour delay at the check-in area. We departed on a 2.5-hour drive and began our day at 4:00 AM with the intention of a relaxed morning and breakfast. Unfortunately, we, along with numerous other travelers, experienced an extended wait time, which was particularly challenging for senior citizens. By 9:00 AM, over 40 individuals were awaiting the arrival of staff. This delay subsequently affected our ability to proceed through TSA security, further disrupting our schedule and precluding the opportunity for a leisurely breakfast.

Nice airport, fairly ready to get around. Security usually moves at a decent pace. Wish the maintenance people could figure out how to keep the plugs on the chairs in the gate areas working. Probably 75% didn't have any power or were broken.
