    Horrible airline and pathetic staff, so they cancelled a flight from Boston to Toronto 2 hr before the scheduled time and no one is present answer people’s questions. It seems they have cancelled 2-3 flights for the same day. Customer care number has a wait time of 300 minutes wait. AirPort staff at counter once appeared was rude as a devil. And when asked to connect with supervisor, they said there is no such person available. And they ran through the back gate once a lot of people started complaining. At last they booked a flight next day and no email was sent on when it is gonna take off. Ended up spending 300$ just in cabs and they have to say nothing about it. Would recommend walking instead of flying with these scammers. Date of incident— march 3rd.

    If you fly a world class airline such as Delta, taper your expectations as one gets what one pays for in all things, especially air travel. Boston to Billy Bishop is a quick and smooth flight and customs and security take minutes. Staff on both ends were super friendly and having its own airport 90-seconds from downtown Toronto (or a 6-minute tunnel walk) is a benefit to be weighed heavily. Don’t expect high-end, state of the art jets and issue-less travel. Weigh the pros and cons and, upon doing so, don’t come here to hammer a budget airline fighting for space with the legacies.

    Extremely Disappointing Experience with Porter Airlines I recently had a terrible experience with Porter Airlines. My flight was canceled at the last minute after waiting for more than two hours at Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto. This left me stranded in Toronto for 5 days, causing significant inconvenience and stress. When I finally did get a flight, the experience did not improve. Upon landing in Boston, we were forced to wait on the tarmac for over two hours. To make matters worse, it took an additional two hours to retrieve our luggage. This entire ordeal has left me completely frustrated and dissatisfied with Porter Airlines. Even if they offered me free flights in the future, I would not consider flying with them again. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and overall disorganization have made this the worst travel experience I've ever had. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for reliable air travel.

    The employee I encountered today at the counter was extremely rude. Yesterday, I couldn't find my baggage at the baggage claim, and since the counter was closed, I decided to come back to the airport today around 4 pm. I clearly explained that I arrived from Canada yesterday and handed him my ticket, but he never bothered to read it. He mistakenly thought the issue happened today and simply said, "No, you can't. Your baggage hasn't arrived from Canada," which made no sense. To make matters worse, he spoke as if I couldn't understand in front of me. It was clearly a case of racism. Thankfully, another employee checked my ticket and realized it was for yesterday, retrieving my suitcase for me. The worst part was that he never apologized; he simply said, "I thought it happened today." Since Porter Airlines only has one phone number for contact and they never picked up the phone, I am sharing my disappointing experience on Google.

    My flight form YYC to Toronto was at 6am. Bought the ticket through Air Transat with connection to Varadero in Toronto. Arrived at 3 am for a 6am flight. Waite until 5am before realizing, nobody was showing up to check us in. No notice no message. Nothing. I bought another ticket with extra baggage with Air Canada - $800+- as the flight was delayed 5 hours, and I would miss the connection. Finally got through on the phone to Porter after waiting 45minutes. Representative was unfriendly and refused to assist me on the strength of my Air Transat booking number. Said he would not help, unless I gave him the partner booking number. absolutely insane person, that admitted he had my information, but could not assist me without said Porters booking number. So I arrived in Toronto shortly before my connection fligth to Cuba. Great holiday. But the story does not end here. Air Transat ... Great flights food was great in club class. Did I mention there is no such thing as club class in PorterAs? The front row sealts are identical to all seats. Armrest are ABS plastic, narrow and sharp. Extremely uncomfortable and suitable to short 1-2 hour flights, perhaps. Not going across Canada. This Brazilian built plane was new but small and very uncomfortable. That's still not the end of the story. I was offered their superior menu and chose the Salmon Poke. a cold dodgy smelling meal. I went straight to work when I arrived in Calgary. almost to the minute, six hours later, at work, I was projectile vomiting and running to the toilet at the same time. I suspect salmonella poising due to the exact duration between eating and vomiting. Of course I have reported it to the authorities. I am well aware that the airline will deny everything. But I am searching for others that may have had the same meal. This happened to me before. Hence I know the symptoms. and as sure as hell two days later I was admitted to hospital with lower bowel problems. 16 hours and two hospitals (transferred for surgery). Although the food poisoning may or may not have been directly responsible for the hospital visit, it surely did trigger my stomachs reaction. The authorities stated that they will contact me if they require the samples I took from throwing up etc. Porter airlines. You may have fancy small and uncomfortable airlines which we can put up with. But your ridiculous phone service, delays without notification (waited from 3am until 5. really? what a joke). And to top that off, I paid for superior seats and service. But on received uncomfortable seating and food poisoning with a smile on your face. Shame on you for your lack of response to the many complaints and your disinterest towards your low Google rating. Cant see you being around for long.
