We seldom book travel for something special or new, but for our 50th wedding anniversary a new experience was needed. I know it is hard to believe, but at our age we had never gone on a cruise and I didn’t know where to start, so I relied on our good friend Wendy Izydorek - owner of Play Your Way Travel. Wendy had helped us a few years back with an unforgettable trip to Universal Studios, Orlando and I knew she was the right person to lean on. Once I gave her the basic information of what we were looking for, Wendy came back with 3 or 4 different options of ships and their excursions. Royal Caribbean’s Alure of the Sea was a perfect fit and honestly it was smooth sailing from then on (pun intended), with Wendy taking care of every detail.
