My son lost his Air Pods while traveling and didn’t realize it until we got home. He checked the “Find My” app and they were originally in the terminal but the next day they had been moved to the Lost & Found building. Went to Lost & Found and stated we were looking for Air Pods. My son showed the male employee (shaved/bald head, glasses) the location of the Air Pods on the app and tapped Play Sound on the app. The employee looked in the small electronics bin for about 10 seconds pulled out an Air Pods case and asked when they were lost. My son told him “Sunday” and the employee replied “Nope, they’re not here.” He told us to go back to the terminal and inquire with the airline he travelled with. We heard Air Pods pinging and I said “I can hear them” but the employee said “No, those are not yours” and walked away. We went to the United Airlines counter and explained our situation, which the UA representative told us that either the Lost & Found employee didn’t look hard enough because he doesn’t care or was lying to us. Very disappointing since the device’s GPS clearly shows they are at Lost & Found but the employee flat out told us they were not there.

The official lost and found for the Sky Harbor is at the airport - terminal 3, go to the 7th floor. Today, Ralph, helped by finding my lost ipencil! Do not pay for any special service, just go see Ralph at terminal 3!

I gave two stars and that’s a lot I have lost an item on a plane that landed in Phoenix sky Harbor I called the lost and found in Phoenix they tell me that I need to call two hours before and after the plane of the airline leaves I’ve been doing that I don’t get a response through either sky harbor or through the other airline I asked them what would be the next procedures and they don’t know I thought that if they lose something it would be taken to the main office of the airport in question I’m sorry but nobody knows anything and if they don’t know I think that’s really a shame

Do not use the pay for expedited service. Says you’ll get a live person to talk to. You won’t. Canned, auto bot responses.

They were so helpful in returning my lost item. A little hard to find and get to, but worth it.
