Who is flying over my house in the middle of night? It's been happening more often the last few months. This place needs a curfew. I hear the plane fly over again last night at 2:45am.

Built in 1941 as a naval facility then purchased by the City of Phoenix in 1968, it remains an active airport. There are a few residents who are rightfully displeased with the airport as it was not in existence when they moved here in 1940. Fortunately those who have moved to the area in the past 80+ years have been able to enjoy their choice to move close to an active airport. Anyone thinking of moving near the airport should be aware that airplanes (noisy at times) do use the airport.

Great municipal airport with easy access in and out we use it all the time when we travel to Phoenix, Avondale area. Plenty of parking and a very comfortable lounge. The staff are super friendly and will do all they can for either your arrival or departure.
