The teachers are very nice and helpful. Thanks to this schools I got my diploma and I could graduate with my old school. Donโt be too skeptical about joining there very helpful.

I graduated through PXU Academy in the spring of 2022. I moved to this school due to COVID and the security of doing online school. In my first semester, I was enjoying my classes. However, their program is dated to 2013. Curriculum, standards, and expectations have changed since then. Fortunately, I was greatly supported by my teachers during the semester of Fall of 2022. However, the following spring, I had to take a statistics class, where I struggled immensely. The teacher, Tawni Casteel, took days to respond to my questions about assignments and would just send me links to you-tube videos (not hers) or other websites. I requested to meet one-on-one with her through Teams Call, but she would blatantly ignore my requests. I tried to get the admin involved, the counselor, and have my parents call, but I was never able to get proper assistance from her. Most of the teachers were great; however, this experience ruined my last year of high school due to the lack of support. Please consider if you are planning to enroll your child into this school or enroll yourself: classes are about six weeks long, the system is outdated, it takes hours to complete one day's set of work, and the lack of support this school has for their students.

The teachers and staff are very caring and accommodating. They work to individualize the educational experience for every student. This school is an amazing option for students who need greater flexibility to their learning experience.

As far as online learning goes this is the worst experience I have had. Staff and office are nice. However it's the online part that gives it a bad reputation. They use a website known as "Edgenuity " . On this website if you get less than a certain percentage you can't go on with the curriculum. They give you two tries but the quiz is graded by an AI. I have had multiple correct answers be marked as incorrect. Again, Place and Staff are nice, It's just the website they use.

I attended this school both my second year and now this year which was my last year. This school is 100% digital as you can see but you can also go in person if need be. Let me start with the orientation for all new students it was pretty easy and quick. When my little sister and I were there to get our IDs and everything one of the staff kept staring at me with a dirty look for no reason. Mind you I hadn't done anything we had just arrived and were waiting patiently in line along with the other students. The counselors are helpful just make sure to communicate thoroughly. Now, not all teachers are like this but one of them specifically, Tawni Casteel, in my opinion, shouldn't be a teacher. She fails to communicate taking hours on end if not days to reply to one message. When I tried to ask her questions about one of the first projects she assigned all she did was send a video that didn't work which when I brought it to her attention she just told me to wait until the next project to figure it out instead of explaining it to me. She then tried to give me a low grade for the project.. when she was the one who didn't want to explain it in the first place. After I finished all my classes they immediately deleted my school email without communication. Which I couldn't go on teams to communicate with my counselor because of the school email even though that would help since I'm a senior. Then when it was the time that I needed to return my school laptop they said that people could leave their laptops the following Monday however when I tried to return it no one was there and the whole place was closed so I had to wait the day I picked up my diploma. Now, onto my diploma, I go by a different name than my legal name. However, they asked previously to put my different name than my legal name which my mom said yes. Then to my surprise when I picked up my diploma I found that they put my legal name. Which I was devastated about. However, I knew I couldn't do anything as they have a deadline for all that stuff but I don't get the point to why they asked then. It was just disappointing.
