I have used Payless Flights for previous trips and had been satisfied with their service, but unfortunately, the quality seemed to have declined during my most recent trip to Bulgaria. We encountered several issues, particularly with email communications. We initially believed our emails were being received, but later discovered they were not, even when sent to the main email address. As a result, I had to resort to using Facebook to communicate important travel information to them. Later on, Maria did provide their cell # information which did work and we were able to contact her that way about how to get her the travel information. There is so much that can be sent over text. Another issue was the accuracy of our travel registration. Although I sent over correct name spellings and passport information for my family, their team made errors in entering the details. We were asked to review for accuracy, but unfortunately, the incorrect last name for my wife went unnoticed until we attempted to check in online for our flight. I reached out to Maria, but it was over the weekend, and we were scheduled to fly out on a holiday, which left us with limited options. Due to the name discrepancy, we had to bring a certified copy of our marriage license to resolve the issue at the Lufthansa check-in at ORD. Thankfully, we were allowed to proceed using the marriage license, but we were instructed to have our agent resolve the name change issue. Our agent assured us that once the offices opened, a waiver for the name change could be submitted to prevent issues on our return journey. Unfortunately, she later informed us that she was unable to do so, and we had to risk addressing the issue with Austrian Airlines at the Sofia, Bulgaria airport ourselves. This experience caused significant stress and inconvenience for our family. We will probably use another agent next time around.
