Greeted twice before I can even said hello!! Super upbeat and friendly front office staff. Mrs. A.Babb was so nice and kind, I was having a rough day (really a rough week to be honest) and have been trying to be medically seen for days. She quickly understood my issue/insurance and documented correctly then easily had me inside the clinic floor to be evaluated. (5 mins and less!!) X-ray tech (Mr. Grayson); super professional and made me feel at ease during the x-rays (great directions, asked if I was okay when I got quiet and made me laugh to lighten the mood). Dr. V.Johnston took his time to listen and understand my issues that lead me to urgent care and did a thorough job in explaining my condition(s), next steps and the examination process. I felt very understood and cared for!!! All and all, I recommend this clinic (10 out of 10/A++)!!! From the very first interaction to the last interaction…, felt like a loving home rather than a sterile cold medical office. Truly remarkable staff, with great customer service, and a superbly clean facility,…only thing better would be warm cookies!!!

We had to take my 4 year old grandson to Patient First on Cedar Road for severe corneal abrasions. All of the staff were awesome. Savannah was so great with him while taking his vitals. After a very short wait, we saw Dr. Ryan Crooks. He was absolutely amazing. He kept reassuring my grandson that nothing he was going to do would hurt and he also praised him about how great he was doing. After the exam, he came back in & brought him some stickers. I highly recommend this particular location.

I went to the Patient First on Cedar Rd in Chesapeake this past Tuesday afternoon due to having a severe muscle spasm in my lower back. Walking and standing were very painful. I had left work early that day due to the pain. The wait was short and the care was decent. The only problem I had was that the doctor refused to write me a work note excusing me for the remaining 3 days of the work week. I've never had a doctor ever refuse to write a work note and was totally taken aback by this. I have no idea how it would have negatively affected Patient First by her writing the note for me. Having said this, I will consider alternative urgent care clinics for any future acute care I may need.

Overall, it was perfect. Check-in time was fast, then the nurse came and checked my vitals, all very quickly. The doctor was very professional and explained and answered my questions very clearly

I was treated with kindness and respect. Nobody goes to medical because they want to. We go to seak care. They were thoughtful caring professionals. Thank you to all their for taking such good care of me.
