My experience flying in and out of Nashville Airport (BNA) was great. Everything was on time, and the process was smooth. It was my first time there, but the signs made everything easy to figure out. After landing, a shuttle picked us up and took us to the main terminal, which was quick and simple. The designated Uber pickup area is across from the main terminal, which makes drop-offs and pickups organized. Security on my way out was fast — about 15 to 20 minutes. There are plenty of food options and restaurants inside, and everything felt clean and well-managed. Some gates require a short shuttle ride, but it runs regularly and on time. Overall, a nice, efficient airport and a great experience traveling through Nashville.

Nashville International Airport (BNA) is bright, modern, and easy to navigate. The new Grand Lobby and expanded security move people quickly, and the public art and live music give it a true “Music City” vibe. Connectivity is excellent with free Wi-Fi throughout, and there’s a Minute Suites near Gate D3 if you need a quiet room to rest or work. Dining and shopping showcase plenty of Tennessee flavors, and the recent upgrades make the terminal feel airy and updated—international arrivals and the central marketplace are especially improved. Rideshare pickups and drop-offs are in the Ground Transportation Center (Garage 2, Level 1); it’s a short indoor walk, but plan a few extra minutes if you have heavy bags. Overall: clean, efficient, and uniquely Nashville. If you value a bit of local character with your travel, BNA delivers. Nashville International Airport (BNA) is bright, modern, and easy to navigate. It has one terminal with four active concourses—B, C, D and T—while Concourse A is closed (as of Sept. 24, 2025) for a full rebuild scheduled to reopen July 11, 2028. Gate counts right now: B = 10 gates, C = 26 gates (includes C4–C11 in the Satellite Concourse), D = 11 gates (after the July 8, 2025 extension with an outdoor terrace and BNA’s first moving walkway), and T = 6 gates (handles most non-pre-cleared international flights). If your boarding pass shows C4–C11, take the short shuttle from near Gate C13—it runs every ~3 minutes and the ride is ~3 minutes. Where airlines are: Southwest uses C & D; Delta and many United flights use B; American uses C (and sometimes T-Gates); British Airways, Aer Lingus, Icelandair, Frontier, Viva Aerobus, WestJet use the T-Gates; JetBlue, Spirit, Allegiant, Sun Country use the Satellite Concourse (C4–C11). International nonstops (as of Oct 2025): London-Heathrow (BA) year-round; Dublin (Aer Lingus) seasonal; Reykjavík (Icelandair) seasonal; Toronto (Air Canada/WestJet) year-round; Montreal (Air Canada) seasonal; Calgary & Edmonton (WestJet) seasonal; plus Mexico/Caribbean routes such as Cancún (multiple airlines), Los Cabos and Punta Cana (mostly seasonal). San Juan (Puerto Rico) is also served (U.S. territory—no passport required). Check the airport’s live Nonstop Destinations list for exact start/season dates. Bottom line: clean, efficient, and uniquely “Music City.” The expanded Concourse D, easy shuttle to the Satellite gates, and clear airline-to-concourse layout make connections simple, and the upgraded international options are a big plus.

Love this airport - always clean, updated and easy to navigate. Restaurant selection is vast, with lots of great places to choose from. A lot of shops are self checkout, making it a speedy stop. Restrooms are clean and there are many of them. The best part is their very efficient system for ride app pickups. Feels very safe, well lit even in the ride app areas that are covered. Hilton is attached and very convenient.

This airport is nicely designed with a center hall area that has most of the restaurants and shops. It is right after the security checkpoint. The modern and well lit. This area leads to 4 gates A-D. But the surrounding and interior of gates drops massively as you walk in. It appears old and out dated. After our arrival, it was about 7-8 minutes walk to baggage claim from the gate. The bags arrived at the carousel within 15 minutes of disembarking. For our departure , baggage drop off was smooth. TSA line wasn’t too long. But they had no Clear lanes. We were at the airport around 6am and a good number of places were already open early in the morning.

Security was simple. Ride Share is a bit of a walk, but we can all use a few more steps. Simple airport with good food options. Felt clean and well maintained.

BNA isn’t just an airport — it’s basically a mall with planes! ✈️🛍️ From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels lively and modern. There are tons of shops, restaurants, and even local favorites that give you a real taste of Nashville before (or after) your flight. Whether you’re craving BBQ, coffee, or something quick and fresh, there’s a place for it. You can easily spend an hour browsing, snacking, or just people-watching — it’s that nice! The layout is clean and easy to navigate, and there’s always something catching your eye along the way. Honestly, BNA makes travel feel less like waiting around and more like a mini outing. If you have a layover here, consider yourself lucky — it’s one of the most enjoyable airports in the country!

I was very pleased with the dining options at this airport. We had a lot of time before our flight so we ate at Ole Red and enjoyed the live performance. The cleaning crew seems to be out and about often, and I even saw them cleaning the metal pillars. There were some fun specialty stores too so if you missed anything in Nashville you might find it here.

Nashville International Airport (BNA) offers a smooth travel experience with a true “Music City” vibe. The terminals are clean, modern, and filled with local charm — from live music stages to southern-style eateries. There’s a Starbucks, plenty of seating areas, and friendly staff. However, it can get crowded during peak hours, and flight delays are common lately. Overall, a lively airport that captures the spirit of Nashville with convenience and comfort. 🎸✈️

⭐ 5-Star Review – Nashville International Airport (BNA) I had a transfer here on my Southwest flight from TPA to LAX the day after Thanksgiving, and the whole connection was smooth and stress-free. I got off the plane and was able to find my next gate with no problem—the walk wasn’t long at all, and everything was clearly marked. The airport itself is very modern and clean. I had enough time during my layover to use the restroom, recharge my phone at one of the many charging stations, and still make it to my next gate with ease. Overall, a very organized airport and one of the easier connections I’ve had.
