Lupe was a was a terrible agent. Always seemed rushed. Made a lot of mistakes. Never once in the many of times we talked said thank you for our business. I noticed it on our first call after booking and then the 2nd call again. After that I listened on each call to see if she would. Nope, she didn't. Never would say goodbye when we'd end a call. Through this all I remained polite to her. She obviously had no knowledge of the resort we stayed in. She acted like she did. When we got back and I told her it was nothing like she said, she said well she didn't know the resort. She told me to write a letter to them. When I asked her questions about when we got to the airport and explained to her we never flew internationally, she was very rushed and acted like we should know what we're doing. The last conversation we had before we left instead of saying I hope you have a wonderful trip, or nice trip, she said good luck. It was terrible.The rooms looked like we were staying in a Motel 6. We had roaches in our room. The couch was stained. That and curtains smelled terribly of urine. When we arrived the room wasn't ready which wasn't the end of the world, but when we were able to go into it the mini fridge was empty. No blankets on the bed. We had to call the desk and ask for blankets and some pops for the mini fridge. Some guy brought them to the room and just rudely handed them to us. Absolutely no service at the pool or beach which was nasty. We don't mind doing things ourselves as we don't believe anyone owes us anything but we were on vacation. We were told there would be service at the pool and beach. The amount we spent on our trip for 4 people did not nearly live up to what we were expecting and we don't expect much. We still tipped extremely well just because that's who we are, and not one employee seemed appreciative. The staff was so dismissive. Did not go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We're kind outgoing people and the level of service was terrible. There were some fun people on the entertainment team. The food was nothing to write home about. I will say the grounds were beautifully kept and we loved wildlife.

Maria is an excellent agent, very patient and understanding she always looks for the best options and answers any of my questions, this is my first time getting a vacation package from Maya travel and happy to say I will be definitely consider them for future trips. Thanks Maya travel!!
