Flew Makers for the first time last week To Andros island. It is like having your own personal plane and Pilots. The waiting facility was clean and staff excellent. You don't need to Uber there, you can use your own car and leave it at the secure facility. If you are like me and had a concern about a smaller aircraft, it's not a problem. They fly like the big ones. We even had rough weather approaching Andros and no problem. Upon return to Ft. Lauderdale they had my car ready and waiting, the air running. Just load luggage, hop in and go. I will definitely use them again.

Nice and quiet check in area, the flight was on time both ways. Never flown in a plane of that small size but it felt completely safe and the bonus is the wonderful views when getting closer to the Bahamas islands.

Makers Air made traveling from the states to Cat Island a breeze. Previously, we used charters flights out of Nassau, and it was MUCH better flying out of Fort Lauderdale and skipping Nassau. We are Makers fans for life now. The online booking process was easy, and all of the staff and pilots were kind and helpful. They treat you like their best client and the views while flying are incredible. See you again soon Makers!

We really liked Makers Air. Very nice lounge/waiting area. Very friendly! Even will drive you the two blocks down to the Runway Cafe and back if you have time. (The Cafe was very good also) planes were nice and comfortable. No hassle going to the islands. My only issue was coming back they of course have to take you to the customs building which isn't close to the hanger we were dropped off at and expected to be picked up from. The pilots said they could let us reboard after the customs check and take us back to the hanger but being unfamiliar we didn't take them up on that. FYI the customs building is right across from a big soccer stadium and if there is a match going on at the time good luck getting your ride from there. Just wish they had explained the option of shutting back to the hanger better but all in all we liked Makers Air and would definitely recommend and use them again.
