Horrible, rotten, and dysfunctional customer service, management and overall business model. Now allow me the chance to back up this statement. We pay TOP dollar for TD Flash expedited service. That means Lufthansa must make cargo available within hours after flight arrival. But that is not the case. Let me show you how it actually goes. Expect 6 to 8 hours before the shipment is flagged available. Once customs is cleared, ISC paid, and cargo shows up available, you then must call them 5 to 10 times to get someone on the phone. Each time the phone rings for 5 minutes. After several tries, someone finally answers and confirms you are set. Next, your driver arrives. He waits a minimum of 5 hours. More often it stretches to 10 or 12 hours. We have easily seen 13 before. But they have a hidden rule to find any excuse not to release your shipment and force you to pay exorbitant storage fees at .45/ KG. Rest assured they will find any excuse. Here is one example. We paid TD Flash. Flight landed Friday evening. We planned pickup Sunday expecting less congestion. They are 24 hr facility. Driver checks in 10 PM. At 11 PM, night shift ended. Employee Ms. Alejandra finishes her shift and leaves. Our driver waits overnight because it’s typical to wait hours to get loaded at any given time. By morning 8:30 AM, instead of loading him, they sent him back in line. Of course, Lufthansa now forced us to pay storage fees regardless of the fact that our driver arrived the night before prior to cargo last free day After 15 calls with employees, supervisors, and managers, they are all trained to repeat the same line “you must pay or we will not release.” Mind you, driver had already waited 12+ hours. We paid under duress. Finally, at 4:45 PM, after total of 19 hours, he was loaded. Their answer was always the same: “pay now and dispute later.” We did. They denied every fact and refused responsibility. Lufthansa service is beyond words and a textbook example of how not to run a business. It is hard to believe they still operate with practices this broken. They should be investigated as they hurt customers and force them to pay unjustifiable fees. Not too long ago, one of the employees said, “that’s how we make money and keep light on.” I attached emails so you can see for yourself.

There is no order in the whole facility! The drivers are allowed to leave paperwork and then sign in. The warehouse forklift technicians they choose who they serve first. Only one forklift was operating. The drivers were skipping the line to get serviced first. I heard that if you gi e money under the hand, you might get your shipment quicker. Horrible experience. It took me 5 hours to get my shipment.

Very poor service. The staff clearly don’t know what they’re doing. All the drivers are just waiting around for the chaser, who shows up for 10 seconds, says something, and then disappears for 20 minutes. It took me 3 hours and 45 minutes just to get my load. Most of them seem lazy — when I asked someone to finish the paperwork, she was just playing games on her phone. How can people work there without even knowing English? All the drivers here are just wasting time. Honestly, I doubt even this review will help improve the service.
