The 1000 mile ship journey on the Amazon from Tabatinga to Manaus was the end of our longer trip to Brazil. We really liked La Jangada, we immediately felt very comfortable, the crew is very friendly and attentive. The kitchen prepares delicious meals every day using fresh ingredients. Excursions were undertaken every day, which introduced us to the culture of the people and the diverse flora and fauna. We had unforgettable experiences. We received a lot of information and knowledge from the friendly and competent tour guide team, including during the very entertaining lectures. The well-air-conditioned cabins offered the necessary comfort to let the banks of the Amazon pass us by from the comfort of our bed in the midday heat. A great trip with many special experiences and lasting memories. Thanks to the entire team.

Perfect organization! Competent, well-trained guides, exciting program, excellent food, impeccable hygiene on the train. The train itself is an adventure, so beautiful, well-maintained, and unique. Nice interactions with fellow travelers. Highly recommended!

The trip to Antarctica, South Georgia, and the Falklands on March 25 was a disgrace in several respects – poorly organized, disappointing in quality, and in no way worth the high price. Even on-site in El Calafate, there was no reliable support at all: the recommended alternative flight to Ushuaia simply didn't exist, and no transfer was offered. We were left to our own devices – unreasonable for an organized trip of this category. The food on board was of the lowest cafeteria standard – bland, monotonous, and of unacceptable quality. Alcoholic beverages were available in every form, while simple, non-alcoholic alternatives were lacking – a questionable sense of priorities. Internet access was practically impossible, despite the exorbitant fees. Technically, a stable connection would be easily achievable in this region – it was clearly not a lack of resources, but rather a lack of will on the part of the tour operator. The high costs were in no way justified. The handling of the so-called "voluntary" tip was particularly brazen: It was automatically added to the bill – this was clearly communicated during the evening briefings. Passports were retained at the beginning and only returned after payment. This is an absolutely unacceptable and legally questionable means of pressure. The offered voucher does not compensate for these numerous deficiencies. This trip was a bitter disappointment – poorly organized, overpriced, and lacking transparency. I strongly advise against traveling with this tour operator.
