Small airport with limited amenities, clean and comfortable. Not bad for the size. Security is small and quick, bathrooms were clean and the military center is available.

Awesome little airport. Clean. Newly remodeled. Flight from LAW to DFW Took 25 min. Great experience! Sit preferred seating! Lots of leg room!

We visited here for our daughter's basic training from the army at FORT SILL!very friendly and helpful staff.Laid back atmosphere, very small airport. They were in the middle of doing some remodeling ,but the place was still very clean..clean restrooms also has rental cars onsite,budget, avis..they don't open until 9:30am though..also national car rental.Tsa check is also small but service was fast and staff was friendly. Plenty of parking...taxis..uber..Lyft..They are very busy on the weeks that Fort sill has its graduations.Note if you're flying in to here from 1 of the bigger airlines you will probably transfer 2 a smaller jet before you get here.the weather is crazy here so there can be turbulence coming in.overall this was 1 of the better airports I've been 2. 💯

Throughout my life, I have developed a firm aversion to flying from Lawton, Oklahoma. I would prefer the alternative of driving to Oklahoma City to access air travel. My dissatisfaction stems from the inadequacy of the airport’s staff. There was an alarming lack of personnel available for communication or assistance at the front desk, particularly during emergencies. For instance, my wife arrived five minutes late due to an unfortunate incident where our vehicle was sideswiped, necessitating a stop to handle the insurance situation. Upon her arrival, there was no one to address her needs or facilitate a solution; she was simply informed that she had missed her flight. We were left waiting for over 45 minutes for someone to return to the main desk to rebook her passage. Instead of promptly sending assistance to check her in and ensure she could meet her flight, the system failed to provide the necessary support in a timely manner. This experience raises concerns about the current standards in airport operations and customer service. If given the opportunity to establish an airport, my priority would be to ensure that there is always personnel available at the service desk to address passenger inquiries, regardless of the circumstances. It is crucial to avoid leaving customers in limbo, particularly in high-traffic areas of public transportation. Additionally, the lack of visible security personnel at the front adds to the sense of inadequacy in Lawton’s airport facilities, which I believe could benefit from a comprehensive overhaul to enhance overall functionality and passenger experience.

I have used this airport personally 3 times each time where round trip. All but once was great. Once our plane was delayed from Dallas, it took two hours for our bags to arrive at baggage. No one was happy. Usually, they are great. Update: 04/26/23 The airport doors open to the public at 04:30. Update: 12/23/24 Under construction.
