It was a breeze! We arrived 45 minutes before our flight, and by the time we got through TSA, they were already doing boarding. We left right away. They have a covered outdoor staircase to board the plane, but it doesn’t extend all the way to the building. The staff was friendly and efficient. I hope the new terminals they're building won't change this. Parking is currently free, but a parking garage is under construction, and paid parking will be required soon.

What a beautiful and convenient little airport! I love the experience of picking up friends on an Avelo flight from Wilmington, Delaware. I highly recommend!!!

Sun N Fun yet again impresses me with General Aviation and especially aviation career opportunity events. I love Lakeland's beautiful airport and Sun N Fun is an annual must-visit for the amazing airshows, the career tent, the beautiful airplanes being flown in, and all the wonderful people you get to meet. As a student pilot, flying into KLAL is always easy and smooth - ATC is a breeze and the airport layout is very straightforward. I haven't seen the new passenger terminal after it's opened, but a couple weeks before it did, and it was cute and homey but efficient feeling.

Easy access and affordable parking. This airport serves many private planes and several small discount airlines. The terminal is small, but efficient. We definitely saved a lot of money flying out of here instead of other regional airports. It is in a easy to access location without much heavy traffic. Obviously the airline and destination options are more limited than the larger airports but if you can find what you need then this is a very budget friendly choice.

I am privilege to live close to this airport. The staff, check in, TSA, and boarding process is easy and convenient. They have a small shop with drinks, snacks and k-cup coffee. They also have a dinning restaurant. Our flight was at 7am so we couldn’t visit the restaurant. I plan to travel more through this airport
