    Review of Delta Air Lines – a first and last experience My partner and I flew business class on a direct flight from Prague to New York, and it was an absolutely dreadful experience that had nothing to do with what business class should be. The plane was old and worn out, with rattling noises everywhere, and the lights were flickering or not working at all. The interior looked dirty and neglected. The food was catastrophic — dry, cold, and tasteless. And when you finally made a choice, you were out of luck because your selection was no longer available and you were given something you didn’t want. This is completely unacceptable in business class. The cabin was extremely cold, which many passengers, including us, complained about. Repeated requests to adjust the air conditioning were ignored. The flight was delayed, but in the context of the whole experience, that was just a minor detail. Unfortunately, we had also purchased return tickets with the same airline. The situation worsened when my partner needed to fly earlier due to his mother’s serious illness. Delta (via KLM) only allowed us to change the flight for a fee equal to the price of new tickets — so we ended up paying twice for this nightmare. For me, Delta Air Lines is a company focused solely on profit, without regard for customers or their comfort. For a high price, they offered a product that did not meet the standards of the advertised class. Never again.

    KLM did a wonderfull job getting our dog Biscuit overseas. It was a hassle to get all the required documents and it was wonderfull to have a KLM staff member who knew what she was doing.

    Awful Team at Gate F3 – Atlanta to Amsterdam Flight (10:40 PM Departure) Terrible experience with the team at Gate F3 for the Delta/KLM flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam. The staff was careless, had poor customer service, and both the manager and supervisor were extremely rude. My previous Delta flight from BWI to Atlanta was delayed, so I arrived at the gate just moments before boarding closed. The manager told me I had one minute to check my bag and board. I asked why, especially since I had been allowed to carry the same bag on the previous flight. Instead of helping, he said, “Close the door, she’s not going.” I asked again why I couldn’t board, and his assistant or supervisor said they could fit me with the carry-on. Still, the manager refused and told me to “go to Delta” for help. I explained I couldn’t miss this flight, but he just repeated, “Go to Delta.” When I reached Delta, they told me the gate agent had noted in the system that I had refused to board, which was completely false. A short time later, the same manager and his team walked by and laughed at me. The agent helping me at the Delta desk was named Tracy. He was extremely unhelpful and only changed his tone when his supervisor arrived. The supervisor offered a flight change and a hotel voucher. Tracy rebooked my flight but never gave me a hotel voucher or booked the hotel. When I asked for the supervisor again, he lied and said, “You can find her at the Exit.” To make matters worse, Tracy didn’t even tell me how to retrieve my checked bag. It seems like they were deliberately trying to create problems and covering their actions by putting misleading notes in the system. I do not recommend Delta or KLM after this awful experience.

    -----DO NOT BOOK FLIGHT WITH THEM------This has been one of the most frustrating airline experiences I’ve ever had. Dealing with delays is bad enough, but trying to get a promised refund has been an absolute nightmare. The customer service process is slow, unresponsive, and unnecessarily complicated. It’s extremely disappointing, and I hope KLM seriously reevaluates how they handle compensation and communication with passengers.

    My bag was misplaced on a direct flight from AMS to ATH. Although it was located and delivered to me after 24 hours, the airline did not cover the extra charges that resulted from the delay. I was on a cruise at the time, and a delivery fee was charged by the port agent to receive my luggage. Around $100 USD
