Amazing experience and a must do in Juneau. Our Helicopter tour was cancelled and we were able to catch a seaplane to see several glaciers. Excellent staff!

Very handy float plane dock where pretty much all of the tour departures take place (including our flightseeing over the glaciers one). When aboard, it was fun to watch the planes land, take off, and taxi.

Canceled our excursion 3 mins prior to walking into the door. Checked with all the other excursions on the dock there are no excursions available. This was a bucket list item. We called 3 weeks prior to make sure everything was fine. We checking in before our flight to Seattle everything was a go. A little rain might be expected but still clear sailing. We checking in before boarding the cruise out of fear of hearing of possible last minute cancellations again we where reassured 3 times our trip would be a success. Please Mr and Ms … everything would be fine your in good hands. Upon check in they said “ we left you a voicemail explaining everything and that you would expect a full refund” Yet no compensation for the 6k in travel expenses per head to get the facility. The best explanation is weather. Idk what kind of wether they are looking for. 55-60* completely calm wind the flags won’t even move flighty over cast sky’s. The entire dock is wondering why the plane won’t fly. Asking around town I can only assume MECHANICAL ISSUES. You might loose more then your money if you book here.

First class operation that will change your life with the breathtaking views. If you come in on a cruise ship it literally sits among the ships. 12 person plane skimmed along the top of the 5 glaciers. They land you at river lodge and sit you down for a family style dinner looking directly at a glacier. Feeding you fresh salmon with glacial ice. Don’t forget the little walk around the lodge are to see the waterfall! Thanks so much!

This is a busy port with seaplanes making short visits and plenty of cruise ships both docked and anchored with constant tendering. It is a challenging affair for air and sea pilots to navigate the tight quarters, but it is a graceful dance when the sea planes compete with the cruise ship's parade of passenger tenders. Shopping in the immediate vicinity is plentiful and most of what a traveler would need is easy access to the dock. Typically won't find planes staying long as they pick up and dispense passengers while finding harbors elsewhere for longer grounding periods.
