We live in a Joliet residential area 2 miles from this airport. We hear and see planes all day into the late night flying low and it's very loud. We called the manager there when a plane woke up some of us one night at 3 am which sounded close to the roof of our homes. It gets very scary at times. These planes need to fly in another non-residential direction. This city needs a new mayor who's not so worried about profit but about the residents. We never heard so many planes as we've heard in the last year or so. It sounds like a war zone over here. What is happening?

If you're headed here for 100 octane for a hot rod, pumps are behind the main building- ya gotta walk pretty far and carry your gas cans AND figure out how much you'll purchase (as in if you want 10 gallons you have to pay for it first then the pump turns on and fills to what you've paid for so ya gotta do some math). Pumps are exactly opposite of where I parked. Works well but ya gotta know the 411 - I happened to catch someone as they were walking in, otherwise not intuitive where ya go/what to do.

Very carefully organized and safe event. There was an antique car show too going on simultaneously

I don't own a plane. I go here to buy their non ethanol fuel for my small engine equipment. They charge $6 a gallon which is pricey for fuel but it's better than having to fix my equipment every season due to regular ethanol fuel which gums up the carbs and causes havoc.
