Small airport with a simple setup. There are not many places to eat or grab a drink, and seating can be limited, especially during busy times. Security and check-in move quickly though, and the staff are generally friendly. There are a couple of cool outdoor displays that give it a bit of local character. Overall, it’s fine for short trips or regional flights but not the kind of airport where you want to spend a long layover.

Idaho Falls Airport Review The Idaho Falls Airport is small, but that’s part of its charm. It’s consistently clean, easy to navigate, and offers a surprisingly great selection of snacks, coffee, and quick meals at their shop. The Snake River Restaurant inside the terminal is a standout, with some genuinely delicious options to choose from before or after your flight. The staff throughout the airport are always friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience feel more personal and stress-free. Parking is very affordable, and the 30-minute short-term parking option is a major plus, especially when flights are delayed and your ride is waiting. If I had to call out one downside from over a decade of flying in and out of this airport, it would be the wait time for checked luggage. Once deplaned, it typically takes around 20 minutes for bags to begin arriving at the carousel, which feels a bit slow for such a small airport. Overall, it’s a solid regional airport that’s only getting better. The convenience, customer service, and clean facilities make it a great option for travel in and out of eastern Idaho.

Small and simple airport. Fairly modern, easy to get to from the city. Two floors and great views of the runway. Rental car pickup and drop off are just outside. Quick service from Denver.

I LOVE small airports- kind staff, super simple layout and I don’t get lost.💁🏼‍♀️ Downside to a small airport is there are limited options for snacks/places to eat. Often we’ve had to walk in the wind/rain to get onto the plane.

Nice, small airport. Convenient to be able to get direct to Idaho Falls. Though, walking up to closed security 2 hours before my flight was a new experience! :) From security to airport personnel, everyone was so helpful and kind. Glad I didn't need to speak with someone at the counters since there wasn't anyone, but great little airport otherwise.
