As a first time flyer Southwest went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met for myself and my partner. On our return home we chose to switch flights to an earlier timeframe. Not only did the customer service ensure we got on the next available flight, but when our luggage was sent with the original flight Tyrone and Nancy in baggage claim at IAH made sure to track it down. We live almost 3 hours away and instead of making us wait they offered to do whatever necessary to get our luggage to us hassle free. Which was an amazing relief since I was recovering from surgery and could not wait to get home to rest (as well as was unable to lift the luggage personally due to post surgery restrictions). We cannot thank Tyrone and Nancy enough and will stay loyal to Southwest for years to come!

Excellent little airport, whether you are a weekend pilot, learning to fly, or need a place to keep your wings when you aren't in the sky. Just a stones throw to the north of Sienna Plantation and off of Highway 6 and FM 521. They fly small Jets and Helicopters out of there as well. Watch your speed on McKeever Road, it's a strict 30 MPH by the airport, and 40 MPH just past it. The Arcola police department generates their yearly revenue by giving out very expensive speeding and failure to come to a complete stop citations at any of the stop signs. There is no leeway with the speed limit either, it is a strict 30 and 40 MPH speed limit. Having cruise control helps.

Flight delayed due to only having one take off road for all plans. Baggage area unorganized. After this trip. 1st class flights ONLY!!!
