My wife's birthday, so we did a private flight. First time in a hot-ait balloon for both of us. Awesome experience! My wife & I had a blast! Pilot Zack & Nick B were a lot of fun & were a big part of how good the experience was for us. Got to 8100 ft of elevation. Even made a "funnest" landing in a 12 mph cross wind.

Hot Air Expeditions made my 30th Birthday Scottsdale trip truly magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, organized, and made us feel completely at ease. We checked in at the airport and then a van took us about 30 mins away to the field. The sunrise balloon ride was breathtaking — floating over the Sonoran desert as the sun came up was something I’ll never forget. Our pilot Don was knowledgeable and funny, pointing out landmarks and local wildlife along the way. After landing, we were treated to a delicious breakfast and champagne, which made the whole experience feel extra special. Everything was perfectly timed and beautifully run. If you’re visiting Phoenix / Scottsdale, this is an absolute must-do — WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! && don't forget to look on Groupon for discounts! 😉

We had the best morning with Pilot Zack, Cowboy Nick, and crew! I would recommend this to anyone in Phoenix in a heart beat. Not only was the experience 10/10, but every crew member truly loves their job — their passion made the experience that much better.

My hot air balloon experience was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish everything was smooth, professional, and so much fun. Our driver, Gina, was so friendly and made sure we were comfortable on the way to and from the launch site. Our pilot, Jonathan, was incredible—knowledgeable, skilled, and made us feel safe the entire time while also sharing fun facts along the way. The views were breathtaking and the ride was peaceful yet exciting. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something unique and memorable

Don, our pilot, and the rest of the team were great. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and made sure we stayed safe the entire ride. Also doubled as "waiters" for our included breakfast with the ride. Don loves what he does. Definitely recommend them if you're looking to hop in a hot air balloon

10/10- I rode for the 1st time today. I'm scared of heights so I was hesitant- but wanted to try this since we were visiting Phoenix. I'm soooo glad I did. It wasn't scary at all, beautiful views, a smooth ride & we had the best & most entertaining pilot (ask for Zack)! Even the food afterwards was good. Thanks soo much for the beautiful experience.💖 If you're debating it- just do it! Highly recommended.

Alisa and crew were fantastic. They made sure we knew what to expect each step of the way. You want peace? This is probably the most peaceful journey I have ever been a part of. 100% recommend!
