We showed up today to let our grandchildren observe the aircraft through the fence. We were welcomed and treated to a narrated personal tour. The firefighters name escapes me ( I am sorry). Anyways, this very kind gentleman took us on a tour and explained things in great detail and offered to answer any questions that we have. We had a great time and the grandkids were even given a sticker badge and foam airplane replica of one of our firefighting aircraft. Thank you sir for the tour and your service to our state!

I was at Hemet-Ryan for work. I did enjoy Bamby's Hanger #1 Cafe. I recommend a stop by for breakfast or lunch.

Nice location to sit in the shade, appreciate a cool breeze, reflect on our heroes that fight fires, and practice dog command partner skills. Helicopters, small planes, bombers, green grass, clean cement picnic tables, and hunting red tail birds.plenty of visuals.

Fantastic non-towered airport. Great cafe on the field. 100LL and Jet A available self-serve. Gliders operate using the smaller runway. Friendly airport community.
