⭐️⭐️ Mixed but Mostly Disappointing Stay I had a mixed experience at the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon, but unfortunately, most of it leaned toward the negative side. The location is advertised as “great for walking,” but I wouldn’t agree — it’s not the most pedestrian-friendly area. Around the pool area, the games were missing equipment or broken, and when we requested pool towels, we were told they’d be brought up but no one ever followed through. The hotel rooms had an unpleasant smell, and the tables and counters were sticky. The hallways were honestly shocking — dirty, with food on the floor, paint chips scattered around, and even a pile of old French fries sitting in a corner. Due to the issues we faced, we were offered a refund, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, all nearby hotels were sold out, so the front desk staff kindly moved us to one of their suites instead. That gesture really helped make the situation a bit better. On a positive note, I want to give credit to the front desk team, especially Jose, who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out amid the other issues. Overall, the customer service was a bright spot, but the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel need serious improvement before I’d consider staying again.

Flew into MIA and needed a one night stay near the airport as we were traveling international the next day. Great location about a 20 min shuttle ride away. Note that there are several shuttles that run that look the same and so be sure you get into the correct shuttle. The shuttles run in the hour so you may be waiting 20-40 min for a shuttle. They leave the hotel at the top of the hour and depending on traffic may take a bit to get to the airport. Another hotel shuttle driver actually dropped us off and we tipped them well. The hotel itself was very clean and modernized inside. Free Breakfast had a good variety of items and the staff were genuine, friendly and kind. Being so close to the airport I thought I would hear air planes but heard none and you are within walking distance to several fast casual restaurants.

Jennifer is extremely helpful! Very pleasant and delivers exceptional service. She’s the reason I even decided to leave a review. Jennifer was able to accommodate a last minute reservation, with early check in, and an upgraded room she WOULDN’T ACCEPT MY TIP. I was under a lot of stress because my last reservation fell through and I was literally in an uber from the cruise port trying to find last minute accommodations. Previously a loyal visitor to a neighboring hotel, I will now be staying here EVERY TIME I visit Miami. The other staff were very pleasant as well, I must mention.

I would like to personally thank and recognize Jennifer who help my friend and I!!! She was sooo awesome and our room was not ready and we had a standard and housekeeping brought us down and Jennifer upgraded us to a one bedroom suite. She was absolutely the best. The location and rooms were spot on. Please give Jennifer a big hug from me.

Fantastic service for our one night stop on the way to Virgin Voyages! From the free shuttle from the airport to our stay to the reasonably priced shuttle to the cruise port. Great service overall. Shout to the Jennifer for helping us checking in early when we had an early flight and being so sweet. My old complaint was the sheets kept coming off throughout the night and we had to keep getting up to fix them. Other than that, great great stay!
