I just got back from my 1st resort stay through GVR and it is DEFINITELY worth the price. The Xcaret Arte Mx retails @$3900. When I say ALL inclusive, this was it. Food, drinks and access to there 8 parks included. I was VERY skeptical and couldnt believe them when they told me they had a vacation that my package already covered. The rep had to convince me there was no catch. However, there WAS a catch that I dont think the rep knew. I had to sit through a 90 min resort membership presentation once there. Dont get me wrong, IT WAS WORTH IT for all the ammenities I recieved there. They were low pressure and when I said no, they didn't try to continually push me. If I have to go to more presentation to recieve this level of luxury for the price of a Gov Vacation Rewards. Count, me, IN! AGAIN WORTH IT!

Amazing Experience with Andrea Henson! We just signed up with Government Vacation Rewards, and Andrea Henson was truly outstanding! She was so down to earth, funny, and easy to talk to—one of those people who instantly puts you at ease. Andrea was extremely informative, patient, and accommodating, taking the time to explain everything clearly and make sure we understood all our options. What really stood out was how she went above and beyond for us...she even stayed late to help finalize everything and make sure we were completely taken care of. That kind of dedication and genuine care is rare these days. If you get the chance to work with Andrea, you’ll be in great hands. She made the whole experience not only smooth but actually enjoyable!

The late evening check in ladies were very Kind and helpful. Great LOCATION. Summertime its Tough Parking in Evenings Under Ground Parking . We felt like if you weren’t a owner of one of the Time share rooms you didn’t get treated quite as well. Like when we called to ask about stuff, they treated us like we’re supposed to already know. I feel like There should be a note in the system that says hey, these Guest are Gov vacation guest, NOT Time share owners. Scott was the maintenance gentleman that replaced the air conditioner unit in Our room the very Next Morning we Check’e d that we checked in for the next day because it wasn’t working. Scott SIAD it went bad, but he changed it out within an hour which made the rest of our week very comfortable, although the heat and humidity were at record temperatures during The days and getting worse as we left. The Head Of maintenance I believe his name was. Tom was very helpful in getting us replacement linens. There were no signs telling you where the laundry and linen room was. Not Even instruccions in The room. It was only on the door and that door was tucked away around a wall in a corner in the bottom of the parking lot at the opposite end / Back of where we were staying, very Large Property . Most of the evening staff ladies were very nice at the front desk. There was a Morning Guy At front Desk , i think his name was Lee That was very argumentative About everything, Condonsending And talk down to tou And spoke over Me While Speaking. There was not any room service for daily cleaning or laundry, linens, things like that we had to do all that on our own not a very resort friendly amenity not having those services. but the rooms were stocked prior to our arrival, but if you’re there for a week, you will have to gather up all your Dirty stuff Linens and return it and get clean items. There are Black Bears That show up Randomly on The back side of resort B-Y The Pool so bé careful. :-) This was also Gold tonus B-Y the Hotel staff And their signs on walls . Over all it was a Nice Stay . Very Close to Everything in Gatlinburg, Tenn. . Thanks

The whole experience was incredible, from the initial orientation, the purchase and, above all, the journey. Customer service was a first class service.

I have been a member of GVR for several years but haven't really used them until recently. My fiancée and I took a trip to San Antonion a few months ago and she wanted to stay at the Menger Hotel, a quaint old-time hotel next to the Alamo. While searching for the best price, I tried GVR and got a price that put the others to shame. Fast-forward to today. I get a call on my phone, Caller ID reads "Probable Spam". I hate these calls and answered with indignance. The woman on the other end was asking if I was happy with my GVR membership. I said I didn't use it much but when I did, yes, I was very happy with the price. Would I hold to talk to an account manager? OK, let's see what they're selling. I spoke to Travis, a personable young man who asked if I could go to the website and he would show me some special features that could be available to me. I was busy editing photos but he piqued my interest. Well, this turned into a conversation lasting almost 2 hours where he asked about my military and government service and my travel activity and plans and I got to brag a bit about my exploits as a Marine and about my fiancée and our plans. But, I knew the sales pitch was coming, and it did. And what I got was a total surprise. What I paid for a "Select Access" membership was far less than another company tried to scam me out of for a time-share and offers me loads more destinations, packages, tours, cruises and flexibility. On top of that, the program uses points and credits, as most travel plans do. But this one more than pays me back the amount I paid into it! I even took some time and asked Travis to call me back so I could review this with my fiancée before making a decision. While I was explaining the program to her, she selected a likely honeymoon for us which, using the points and/or extras we received, should only cost us airfare! That, alone, more than pays back what the plan cost me! And even better, I can share the benefits with family and friends and when we are done traveling, I can pass it on to our kids!
