We did the Shedd, Griffin, Skydeck, Centennial ferris wheel and butterbeer at the Harry Potter museum. All of it worked perfectly. Great way to see the city. Highly recommend!

Go City cards are incredible! I have used it in 2 cities so far, Boston and Chicago. Both gave us a plethora of information and options, and ultimately a starting point to explore without having to do much research. Both saved us TONS of money on admission fees to all of the attractions. Each time I opted for a 3 day all-inclusive pass, with the hop on/hop off and duck boat tours being the most informative parts. In each city we did tours that we wouldn't have otherwise spent the money on, but that ended up being some of our favorite sites. The site maps on the app are super helpful when it comes to making plans. We saved over $300 in Boston and $360 per person in Chicago, and we left both places feeling like we had really gotten a feel for the areas.

We purchased a three day city pass. We thought it had great value and a lot of things that you can do. The hop on hop off bus was included for a two day pass, which was great. We were able to go to plenty of the major attractions with it, including aquarium, the museum, sculptural, and architectural tour Chicago 360 and the Willis Tower, Among many others. We hit 11 attractions over the three days. There were more that we could’ve done, but we could not get to all of them. The one thing that is a challenge is that a lot of the attractions have rather short hours, so fitting in more than a few in a day is difficult. That’s not a pass issue, but just consideration as to how useful it can be for you depending on your schedule. As well the only thing I would recommend would be if we could more prominently seeing prior to or before purchase which attractions require pre-booking/require pre-booking To make sure that you can get your monies worth. We were lucky we were able to get into everything we want to. And we were actually there on a very beautiful summer weekend in August, the weekend right before the DNC so Chicago was extra busy. But upon purchase, it would be nice if it sent you a link prompting you to pre-book attractions once purchased. As it stands, you have to go into each individual activity to see whether or not a pre book is required. on two occasions, we arrived at places we did not expect to require a pre-booking to find out that we did. Fortunately, we were able to get into both, but it would’ve been nice to have a prompt after buying the pass to quickly and easily do that. With the city pass, you’ll find yourself doing a lot of activities that otherwise you might not do. For example, we might not have gone into museums and may have instead gone off to other locations of the city just to explore. So it’s worth considering how you like to travel before purchasing, but overall great value and it was fairly easy to use.

Lame reply below from GoCity where they reference the speedboat tour so here's how it work...you have to go to Navy Pier from where ever your hotel is to stand in line early in the day (open around 10am) to possibly secure tickets...there is no guarantee you get on during your preferred times. GoCity-Chicago; Horrible experience (now made worse as my trip is 5 days away and I'm being told I can't make reservations to Skydeck for another 1-2 days...helpline from India is staffed with people who speak english very poorly, had to request a supervisor) trying to secure advanced tickets and their helpline has been awful (guessing it may include some AI, a bit of a nightmare)...no supervisor to speak to. Continue to refer me to the website. While advanced reservations are recommended for many items, the ability to secure advanced reservations is limited to 9 of the 40 attractions. As an example, I'm being told to show up on the day of the Speedboat tour and my pass will get me onboard. That's great if there's availability, what if there's not? Looking like a waste of nearly $900 for 4 tickets and never received the 5% discount for providing them with my email address.

It was a very fulfilling experience. There are options of 1, 2 or 3 day passes. Prices look very high but actually they are not. In three days pass you can cover attractions which otherwise will cost three times. It includes one day hop on ho off bus. Go City should consider hop on hop off for same days as number days of ticket. It is convenient to use hop on hop off bus for all attractions as bus stops at every attraction. It covers almost every attraction of Chicago. Whatever is missing is mostly free. It’s really very good value for money.
