Do not travel with this horrible airline! We bought a round trip to Paris Orly from Montreal YUL through Air Caraibes/French Bee including carry on baggage and meal. On the return fight the boarding crew made us pay €120 to stow my husband’s carry on baggage saying it was too big for the overhead compartments in the plane cabin. This is a lie, since we put same luggage in the overhead bin on the flight to Paris with no issues and it was the exact same plane for the return flight. Air Caraibes, with whom we booked the flight gives measurements for carry-on luggage (22X 7X 15) but French Bee has different smaller measurements. Both companies give the sum measurement for carry ons and my husband’s luggage was 1 and a half inches smaller than the sum but they still charged us to stow the small suitcase. I complained to customer support but the AI (I suppose) customer service agent doesn’t listen to any logic. Obviously a sum measurement supposes that different luggage might have minor discrepancies and people should not have to buy new luggage for voyages with different airlines. They refuse to refund the fraudulent cost! My suitcase (the blue one on the right) passed with no charge, but my husband’s, the smaller one(!) was not allowed because of a less than half inch discrepancy! Stay away from this awful company. The boarding crew were rude and the seats are horribly uncomfortable, way too narrow for any normal human being. Customer service is not real people but AI and it is made to reject any and all grievances.

0 zero if can give Star – Worst Airline Customer Service. Ever. Avoid French Bee Airlines if you value your time, money, or sanity. I’ve never dealt with a company so poorly equipped to handle customer issues. Every attempt to reach their support team has been met with rude, arrogant responses, especially from an agent named Charles who told us there was “no one else to talk to” and refused to transfer us or escalate our concerns. The website is confusing and broken—no real help available. The chatbot is constantly “offline,” even when I try during Paris business hours. I was directed to a contact form, filled it out, and no one ever responded. WhatsApp and Facebook? Both useless. No replies. No resolution. To make matters worse, I purchased travel insurance through French Bee (with Allianz Travel) at the time of booking. When I contacted the insurance company, they had no record of my name or the contract number French Bee gave me. Allianz told me to contact the airline. French Bee’s answer? “It’s not our problem.” I paid French Bee, and they washed their hands of it completely. This is beyond frustrating. It’s unacceptable. You are completely alone once they take your payment. No support. No accountability. No respect. Never flying French Bee again.

We flew French Bee from PPT airport to San Francisco on the 24th of May, 2025. It was awful. We upgraded our flights for a horrible experience. They moved up our flight time 2 times and canceled our connecting flight. Then, they did not provide us with any connecting flight information. We contacted our connecting flight, Alaska, and they found the flight number for us but could not manage anything because French Bee would not release the flight. We arrived early and were supposed to originally have a 3 hour layover but turned into 1 hour and 49 minutes. We stood on the plan for 30 minutes before it started de-planing. We had to still go through customs 45 minutes and get our bags another 20 minutes and go completely out to check into our Alaska flight. We had to run. The service was horrible. They couldn't get any flight information at the gates, on line before we took off or after we landed. Luckily, Alaska gave us the flight numbers. We were able to get checked in. Then we had to go through TSA, and that took another 35 minutes. Our flight had been delayed because of a flat tire. That is the only reason we made our connecting flight. We had to run the whole way to get there at last call. The in air service was horrible. The flight attendant dropped 2 different food trays( they served rice) gross all over the floor. Then, when she took my husband's tray, she snapped at him 2 times to buckle his seat belt. He was trying to put his tray away so he could, and she snapped at him again. Mind you, he had it off to let me out to use the restroom, but she kept dropping trays. In air, they served him 1 drink while serving everyone else around us on an 8 hour flight. I will never recommend them.

If you check in online the day before, they do not give you a boarding pass, which seems fine because you think you can print one in the airport. If you show up exactly 90 minutes before your flight, with no bags to check, they will not print your boarding pass. You must show up at least two hours before, in case the line is long. Even though there are 89 minutes until the flight, you cannot get credit or a discounted ticket for another flight. This airline is entirely a scam. Air France is always worth it instead. Saves hundreds of dollars in headaches.

I recently flew French Bee round trip from San Francisco to France and back. I paid about $1,500 for one ticket, which seemed reasonable compared to other airlines. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me disappointed. On such a long international flight, the food options were extremely limited. Unless you pre-order a meal, there are no real food choices onboard — only a few snacks for purchase. I bought a croissant for breakfast, and it was one of the saddest croissants I’ve ever seen: dry, flat, and far from the fresh, flaky pastry. For a French airline, I expected better. Our return flight from France to San Francisco was also delayed almost four hours. The compensation was only an 8-euro food voucher, which doesn’t go very far at an airport. After such a long delay, that felt more like a token gesture than real support for passengers. The flight attendants weren’t rude, but they seemed inexperienced and not as well trained as on other airlines. They didn’t appear fully prepared to handle passengers’ needs, which I believe is the airline’s fault for not providing proper training. With better preparation, their service could improve. French Bee does deliver on affordable fares, but you sacrifice comfort, food quality, and reliability. If you choose to fly with them, I recommend bringing your own food, water and coffee (their coffee sucks) and being prepared for possible delays. It is not an airline I’d be excited to fly again.
