My wife booked flights and some of the places we stayed in Japan through Didac. Everything was ok (except for not being informed that children under 5 are considered to not need a bed or pillow, we had to buy our own for our 4 year old) until we arrived at our place in Osaka. We were greeted with the smell of mold and piss throughout the apartment which was run down, dirty and dusty throughout. We immediately contacted Didac and informed him of the condition. He simply told us that he would contact the booking department and told he could book us into another place at 100% our own cost. We finally got a reply back on our last day from the booking department saying they couldn’t do anything for us. We would have been better off booking this through air bnb where you can report sub par conditions and actually get some action. We were left high and dry which put a damper on our week in Osaka. This was a place booked through their “trusted supplier network”. Isn’t the point of using a travel agent to not end up in a dirty disgusting accommodation with no way out but to forfeit all your money and pay for another place? No action, no help, terrible customer service when we had issues with accommodations that Didac booked for us. Would not recommend.

Booking online with Flight Centre has been a nightmare. I would not recommend it at all. In response to your offer of help. The issue is that you forced me to pay you an extra over $400 in order to cancel a trip. I don't see why you cannot take the fees out of the money being refunded. I had to pay immediately in order to cancel, but my refund will take 2 to 4 weeks!! Completely unacceptable. I don't understand how this is even legal.

Staff at Flight Centre are very helpful. I would like to give a special thanks to Katrina who took me on as one of her own as I had initially booked through Coquitlam (wonderful staff at both locations). I needed a flight change and she supported me every step of the way. I really appreciate her help and for finding solutions for me that matched my criteria!

For my most recent trip, Nicki helped me build out an itinerary, gave great suggestions, and adjusted based on my feedback. It made our family trip to SE Asia so much easier to plan.
