Fantastica Italia planned our trip to Italy this summer and their service was absolutely amazing! Our trip was incredible, each hotel recommendation was fantastic. Further, while we were away and needed assistance, they addressed and helped us right away. There were no interruptions to our trip. The service and trip planning expertise is amazing, and I truly enjoyed my experience working with the members of Fantastica Italia! I will, without hesitation, recommend their services, and use them in the future!

We have always had very positive feedback from our clients on their trips. We have repeat clients coming back to arrange their trips to Italy because they were so satisfied. Fantastica Italia's customer service is one of the best in the business. They take special care in all details of the clients trips including hotel choices, mobility issues and food allergies. I also have used Fantastica Italia's services for my own travels to Italy and Paris and from the transportation to the hotels, I was completely satisfied. Fantastica italia is a company I can rely on to do the very best for my clients.

I used Fantastica Italia to plan an affordable trip for my mom and her 2 friends for their 75th birthdays. I asked her to arrange transfers, tours and hotels for 6 nights for 5 people. My mom has severe rheumatoid arthritis and mobility issues and one her friends had a serious heart condition. Maria Laura and her staff arranged an amazing trip -they listened to all our concerns and picked very affordable hotels that had elevators, security, breakfast, concierge and most importantly location. The hotels were perfect and and the hotel staff were quite patient in dealing with one of our passengers forgetfulness. Roberto, the person who handled our transfers went over and above to make sure we all arrived safely to our hotels, airport and train station. He sat with us at the train station to ensure we got on the correct train (we had some issues with the 75 year olds and word on the street was we needed an Italian chaperone) Roberto also was there to greet us on the train platform after our day trip to Florence to ensure we didn't get lost leaving the station! When we missed our appointment to tour the Vatican because of heavy rains - MariaLaura was a phone call away and got us in on another small group tour an hour later. When one of the ladies had her passport stolen MariaLaura was there to help us get a new passport processed in Florence. Traveling with three 75 year old women with health and mobility issues was a tall task and MariaLaura was able to hold hour hand while in a different country pick us up, dusted us off and made a trip of a lifetime and bucket list wish a wonderful memory. I don't know what we would have done without MariaLaura.

Disappointing does not begin to describe this experience. Lacks integrity; terrible service; and incredibly frustrating; zero value added for your money. Italy, of course, is beautiful, but if you're going to compensate a travel agency with thousands of dollars of commissions in return for a first-class, five-star experience, in which you don't have to worry that your accommodations and amenities will be what has been represented to you, then steer clear of Fantastica Italia. Just a couple of examples: they represented to us that our hotel in Positano had a beach, which was a specific requirement we gave them, but there was no beach, only a small strip of inaccessible shoreline covered with boulders from the size of grapefruits and up. We told them one of our party had mobility issues and walks with a cane -- instead of factoring that in, they booked us at a hotel and at rooms at that hotel that required 150 steps to reach either the pool or the waterfront. They represented that the hotel in Rome had a rooftop pool, which sounded like a great amenity to have after a long day of touring around in the heat. As it turns out -- no pool for us. Bellagio? Promised a hotel on the lake, but instead it merely had lake views with no lake access at all, so we had to pay for rental car to drive to another hotel and purchase day passes to be able to swim in the lake. Just a few examples. Don't count on your hotels having received accurate info either -- our rooms were wrong at literally every hotel. We specifically requested, and were assured repeatedly, that one of our rooms at each hotel would have two beds for our children, but every single one had it set up with only one bed. Might not seem like that big of deal, but when you pay a premium for the service this company promises, you don't want to have to argue with hotel staff about what's in the reservation as opposed to what you are supposed to get, and you definitely don't want to wait around, at every single hotel, while they reconfigure the room. We paid for first class train tickets but were given coach or business class, even when higher classes of service were avaialble. While you're traveling, if an issue comes up, don't bother trying to get Fantastica to address it. They simply ignored our concerns or flat out lied to us about their efforts to address them. I really could go on and on. We made the most of our trip, but we paid these people in hopes of avoiding travel headaches and logisitical mixups, but they only made it worse.
