Emirates is my preferred airline. Unfortunately, my experience with the Emirates check-in staff at the Dallas airport was disappointing. The staff came across as quite unhelpful, they don’t know what they are doing and very very rude. I kindly suggest reviewing staff training or considering new hires who reflect the high standards Emirates is known for.

I recently traveled with Emirates from Dallas to Dubai on flight EK222 and the experience was far from the world-class service I anticipated. As a frequent flyer, I understand the unpredictability of air travel, but certain aspects of this journey require attention. Firstly, the presence of crying children can be an inevitable part of flying, but when seated next to two infants for an extended flight, the disturbance is considerable. While I recognize the limitations of the cabin crew's influence over children's behavior, the lack of intervention or alternative solutions was disappointing. Moreover, an incident involving hot coffee being accidentally spilled on me was met with a mere apology, with no first aid or proper assistance offered. I was surprised to learn that such an incident wasn't even reported by the cabin crew, as per the airline's response. The response from Emirates' Customer Affairs was equally disheartening. An automated-sounding reply with no acknowledgement of the coffee incident nor any offer of compensation does not align with the high standards that Emirates purports to uphold. My return journey compounded my dissatisfaction, with multiple wheelchair-bound passengers, including my mother, being placed in an over-capacity compartment. The attached photo attests to this unsafe practice. This experience has unfortunately left me dreading future flights with Emirates. The service did not match the premium we paid for our tickets, and the response to our complaints has been lackluster. I am hopeful for improvement and will reconsider my stance based on my future experiences with Emirates.

Emirates has become a low class airlines now. Lost the charm of being international airlines. Feel like they are treating people like cattle. Just don’t do business guys if cannot keep up with the crowd. Will be trying Qatar and other airlines from now on. Bye Bye Emirates till you get better!!

My OCI has an expired US passport number. Indian consulate states “The requirement of carrying old and new passports, along with the OCl card, has been done away with. Henceforth, an OCI cardholder traveling on the strength of existing OCl card bearing old passport number is not required to carry the old passport. However, carrying the new (current) passport is mandatory.” I carry my new valid US passport with valid OCI. Train your ticketing agents in the US to not ask for old passport when we have a valid US passport and OCI. We have to show them the Indian Consulate website every time. In addition, the ticketing agent in DFW was rude and told that I will be sent back to US from Dubai. I have traveled several times this year and not even once have I been questioned in Dubai about this.

EMIRATES is the BEST airline there is. Traveled with an infant and a toddler and were treated really well at DFW, Lahore, Dubai airports at security, immigration and check in desks. Our air hostess GEORGIA on Flight 221 on Apr 23,2024 deserves a special mention here, she was extremely kind and courteous not only to our family and kids but to every other passenger she was assisting throughout the flight. Emirates really provided superior services in-flight, great food and assistance with overhead luggage handling and with general needs like bassinets, seat assignments, baby foods, hot water for baby bottles etc... Baggage Claim at DFW took about 30/40mins but everything intact, no lost luggage, we got all our bags and our strollers.. We had an amazing travel experience and EMIRATES will always be our 1st preference even if it costs a few bucks more than other airlines.
