New terminal is nice, but show up 3 hours early if you do not have status with Emirates as check in can take some time with limited staff. Emirates flys older Boeing 777 to Duabi. Emirates provide dual prong head sets for in flight entertainment, pillow and blankets. Seats in economy recline better than most. Returning to Orlando it took hour to get bags, but customs was efficient

Orlando its never traumatic for me cause people from emirates make it so smooth, today I have a a matters with my seats and KRISTIAN GIRONA RUIZ just made this happen with out any struggle

I have been traveling with Emirates airline last six years from Mumbai to Dubai and Dubai to Orlando. Cooperative staff and good service were provided on the flight. Delicious and best food quality.

I was always under the impression that Emirates was the gold standard for international transit. Honestly my first experience felt a little disappointing. I booked my roundtrip ticket directly through Emirates' website (even though it was more expensive to do so). On my return flight home I had a short connecting flight that was operated by Air Mauritius. Upon arrival, they told me that I could not board my flight, otherwise I would be stuck in Mauritius. After talking with every employee that i could, I learned it was due to Hurricane Ian back in my home city of Orlando. I was to fly to Dubai following my connection in Mauritius. From Dubai I was to fly directly to Orlando. I told them that I already had a hotel in Dubai due to my long layover and that it would be so much easier to sort everything out there given that it is the Emirates' headquarters. They assured me that they were just following the instructions given to them by an official at Emirates to keep me grounded. My situation was made quite complicated as I had to extend my visa and wait a week before I could return home. I was disappointed as I received no notification of a flight cancellation or change. Thankfully Emirates didn't charge me any fee to rebook for the following week. I was informed by a friend that for long layovers in Dubai, Emirates provides complimentary accomodations. This was the case for me and I received a complimentary sim card and meal as well. I enjoyed the opportunity to walk around Dubai for the day even though it was hot. The convenience of flying directly from Orlando to Dubai is cool, although it makes for a very long journey to my final destination in Madagascar. Generally speaking I found the meals in transit to be really good, but the comfort level and in flight entertainment was not. The customer service seemed average to me. I would consider flying Emirates again if the price is right, especially after knowing now what to expect.

Good airlines but inconsistent product. Punctual, efficient and professional. At the same time you can have a completely different experience on two different flights in same day. For example. My flight from Chicago to Dubai in business class was outstanding. Nice plane, good food, pleasent staff. Same day flight from Dubai to Delhi was awful. Flight from Dubai to Miami was even worse. Old equipment, terrible food and sullen crew. And it was on a 16 hour flight.
