Beautiful airport. Angola and the airline really impressed me. They kept to time and WiFi works.

Infrastructure is a huge improvement from the last airport. Staff are friendlier and the whole process feels like a proper 1st world airport. My scanner at security wouldn't scan my boarding pass off my phone, but a nice Taag official quickly printed me one. Downside? Ridiculously over priced food from one food outlet mean a long queue and wait. A couple tiny duty free shops with limited items, also extremely expensive. I miss the curio shops from the old airport.

New airport is impressive and spotless. But somehow, baggage still arrives slower than at the old airport. If they can fix the baggage system, this place would be world-class.

Situated outside of Luanda city, on a green terrace, this airport is really massive, compared with old airport very big with lots of space for commercial activities. Unique design outside of crowded city limits. Saw one train running and connected to airport. Hopefully it ll connect to luanda city in near future.
