Hello, I had no issues with picking up the car. However, when I received the vehicle, there were deep scratches on the rear right bumper and several smaller scratches on other parts of the car. I clearly mentioned that I received the vehicle in this condition, and I also recorded a video showing the damaged areas while the car was parked. I assumed these damages were already documented in your system. However, when I returned the car, I was asked questions suggesting that I may have caused the damage. These scratches were already present at the time of pickup and should have been recorded in your system. It created the impression that I was responsible for the damage, and a damage report was issued under my name. I don’t understand why such a report was created despite my explanation that the damage was not caused by me. I do not accept that this damage report has been issued under my name, and I demand that it be removed from your official records immediately. Additionally, I do not want this incident to affect my insurance in any way. I kindly request a prompt response on this matter. Thank you.

Rented an EV. Attendant said the car was not in Terminal A. Told me to walk to Term B instead of having the car delivered to A. Interior was dirty and smelled. Key fob battery died on day 2. Could not unlock the vehicle to return it. Ended up going on YouTube to replace the battery after uber to and from CVS. Horrible overall experience with no real solution upon returning the vehicle. Beware renting from MCO dollar and EVs.

I booked an electric vehicle special for a specific amount. When I went to pick up my car, I was told that I could not get the electric car I requested and booked because they didn’t have enough chargers for the cars… Fine. I can understand that. Then they offer to “upgrade” me to a gas car… but it’ll be an extra $150. I would just like to understand how I booked a car far in advance and they still were unable to fulfill what I booked. I decided to go with what was my only option and had to pay almost double what I originally booked. This is unacceptable. No sorry. No let me try to solve this problem and help you out. Just… if you want a car from us you need pay significantly more. It’s just disheartening and a very negative way to start my vacation.

DO NOT RENT HERE. GO TO FOX. I live in Orlando and I rent cars all the time from Fox, but I was flying in and I was really tired and I thought instead of taking the shuttle and spending another 15 minutes. I'll just rent in the airport so I was on the plane and I was on Priceline I booked a car for one day. It was advertised as a special three dollar car rental. It said that I had to pay at the counter. So I went to the counter with all my luggage and everything only to be told in a very condescending way. "I'm sorry we don't have any cars" I asked the lady "what do you mean? You don't have any cars? I have a reservation.". She tells me "well you just made the reservation now…" I said" for your information I made the reservation on the airplane over an hour ago. Is there some rule that says you're not allowed to make a reservation within an hour?" Then she said "well if you'd like to upgrade to an SUV you can pay another $50 per day." I said "oh I thought you didn't have any cars." She was so rude and I was so disgusted with this company that they just put the sale out there and make all these people come to the counter only to tell them they don't have any cars. What's the purpose of that. They do this on Priceline. I would avoid this company. I went to Fox and I paid $11 for a decent car rental and I didn't wait. Yes sometimes there's a line there but it's worth it. The people are nice. they don't really hassle youand it's right outside the airport. The shuttle comes every 15 minutes.

I recently rented a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV from Dollar Rent A Car at Orlando International Airport through a Priceline Express Deal, and overall, I’d rate the experience 4 stars. The price was absolutely unbeatable for a full week — way cheaper than Hertz, Enterprise, or even other budget brands. If you’re looking to save money, Dollar is hard to beat. The car itself was fantastic. It was spotless inside and out, super smooth to drive, and surprisingly quick for an SUV. When I picked it up, it had 81% charge, which gave me about 263 miles of range — more than enough for what I needed. Charging was also really easy; I used my hotel’s charger overnight, which actually made returning it simpler than a gas car since I didn’t need to stop for fuel. As long as you bring it back with at least 80% charge, you’re fine. The only minor hiccup with the car was that it was tucked away in a corner of the garage, probably because not many people rent EVs yet, so it took me a little extra time to find it. The biggest downside to this location is the pickup wait time. I arrived around 11:30 PM and still waited over an hour and a half to get my car. At first, there were two people working the desk, but they went down to just one woman handling a line of frustrated travelers on her own. To her credit, she was extremely nice and even thanked me for checking in online beforehand, but she was clearly overwhelmed. And based on my previous experiences renting here, long waits like this are very common, so be prepared — especially if you’re arriving late. Returning the car, however, was quick and painless. I pulled into the return area, dropped the keys, and was done in under five minutes. Overall, I’d give Dollar at MCO 4 stars. The price was amazing, the Equinox EV was excellent, and the return process was simple, but the long pickup wait keeps this from being a 5-star experience. I’d recommend Dollar if you’re trying to save money and don’t mind waiting a while to get your car. But if you value your time and want to get in and out quickly, you might be better off paying a little extra with Hertz, Enterprise, or another company. Whether I rent here again will honestly depend on how good of a deal Dollar has compared to others next time.
