    Delta Staff in airport at LGA very rude and nasty. (10/17 flight DL1077 from LGA to FLL) Definitely not at all concerned with quality customer service. They act as if they are the school principal and the passengers are their students. Had a roller bag for the overhead and a small tote bag for under the seat. I had an iPhone and ID holder (literally the size of a regular iPhone) around my neck and you’d think I was accused of a triple homicide. The rep at the boarding door was nasty yelling at me to move to the side and consolidate my items. I literally had no idea what she was even talking about as again, I had a carry on regulation size roller bag and a tote bag for under my seat. I was storing nothing else anywhere else on the plane, so I am still not sure what the problem was. Very odd behavior for a profession based on interaction with customers. More importantly, however, don’t bother paying extra money for a comfort seat on Delta because, unlike other airlines, (hint: JetBlue) you do not get dedicated overhead space for one carry on item. On my recent round trip flight with Delta, on both flights I had to put my bag way at the back of the plane despite being in zone 3 and in a seat at the front of the plane. So, an earlier zone and a much more expensive seat got me a foot of extra leg room and a big hassle. Delta 👎 (has plummeted downhill over the years and seems determined to continue its current downward trajectory) Jet Blue on the other hand 👍

    This is DEFINITELY the WORST flying experience I have ever had. This is my first time flying Delta and our departing flight was delayed due to “computer and engine issues in the plane” (Flight #A321-200) by almost 4 hours, making me miss a pre-paid dinner at Hell’s Kitchen (5-Course Prix Fixe). We got no water or food until they “fixed” the issue and we finally got on air. I lost over $165 on a meal I did it attend to since it’s pre-booked. Now, on my returning flight back home, They have delayed my flight over 6 times, canceled and even rebooked it without my concern. Thus, I have now been 22 hrs stuck in an airport with no food, little communication as to when our next flight leaves, and horrible sleeping conditions (I have diagnosed insomnia and ADHD). When speaking to the Delta help desk here they say it’s due to “weather” but the sky has been clear for the last 5 hours. When confronted on how the weather is clear, they said they don’t have any pilots on the clock to take us there, and the plane requires 2 new pilots since the last 2 that were supposed to take us have reached their “Flight Duty Limitations”. Now it is no longer a weather issue. Just like my departing flight, it’s not something that should be passed down to paying customers. Due to me not being able to make it to open up my workplace yesterday (Monday 3/31/2025) I have been suspended from work until next Monday. Which now affects my income and stability. I called the customer service phone line and was on hold for 3 HOURS. When I finally got transferred to a manager called “Sarah”, she said “You’re not the only one that has to go through this, the most I can do is rebook your flight from 9:15am to 3:15pm” which makes NO SENSE. WORST experience I have had flying for YEARS. Will definitely cancel my SKY membership and this will be the LAST TIME I ever fly with Delta which is a SHAME because I loved the free wifi and amenities. SAVE YOUR MONEY, GO WITH ANY OTHER AIRLINE. THEY WILL DELAY YOUR FLIGHT MINUTES BEFORE YOU GET TO THE GATE!

    Longtime Customer, Deeply Disappointed I’ve been a loyal Delta customer for years, but the experience has gone downhill fast. Flights have been canceled multiple times with no real explanation, and the airline clearly can’t handle the current travel volume. Customer support is practically non-existent — hours on hold with no resolution. Most frustrating of all, I was bumped from flights and had my higher-status, paid tickets downgraded to regular class — stuck in middle seats, despite paying a premium. The communication throughout was dismal, with no proactive updates or accountability. Delta used to stand for reliability and service. Sadly, that’s no longer the case.     The most incompetent and infuriating airline I have ever had the displeasure of flying with. Absolutely unacceptable dysfunction. Every single Delta flight delayed from all parts of the world on a day that local weather was mostly clear until midnight. So the excuse that flights were delayed due to weather were clearly lies, or we had the only responsible pilot at all of LaGuardia… since other planes were taking off and landing. In an industry known for being greedy, corrupt, and inhumane, Delta makes even the likes of RyanAir and Frontier look like luxurious, charitable accommodations. Perhaps the delays were due to the Trump administration’s attacks on the FAA, but if that’s the case it was not explained to us. Shame on this company. All the poor employees having to eat crow on behalf of Delta should quit or go on strike. I will be doing my extremely small part with a boycott. But at least I have an ounce of principle, unlike this dreadful business.

    My gate attendant arrived and went up to upgrade my ticket to first class. She was to busy on her phone to help but had time to be on her phone. About 6 minutes later she could help but not me first. Stulick with American, I never have issues at gates or upgrading. I was also advised I couldn't purchase an upgrade even though 3 seats were opened. Another lady went up about her seat and the same lady said she is fine. When that same attendant left, she went back up to the other attendant. The lady got helped this time and did need something else done with her pass. One last thing! There was an empty first class seat. She didn't want to work and put me available for the seat. Deltas loss in extra money and my choice as Delta. Moved to my third choice now. Shame. I've flown Delta since 6 years old, from pa to ga for years as a child with parents in different states. My choice years before also.
