Had them ship a parrot for me back in August 2024. Sadly, I could not pick it up until the next morning and the staff made sure she had water. Place looks a bit scuffed, but solid work.

My luggage made it home before I did. I had to call customer to find my luggage so that’s a mark against Delta. If I hadn’t called would they have contacted me who knows. The agent said she had to initiate the claim to get my luggage. Once she did she said it could be an hour or several days before they contacted me. That threw me for a loop. They ended up calling me a couple hours later. Someone brought my luggage straight to my apartment so that was nice. Which is why I give them 4 stars.

What kind of an operation is this? Your business hours state you’re open until 11pm. Arrived at 9pm on a Tuesday and you’re closed? Glad I drove all the way down from Austin to this atrocity. I even confirmed with customer service prior to leaving Austin that you’d be open. Called them again but they couldn’t get ahold of anyone in San Antonio. How can anyone depend on their shipments getting somewhere if the facility can’t even stick to their posted hours. Unbelievable.

There is a disconnect between cargo, corporate, and ticketing. Major inconvenience for a military family PCsing overseas with a dog. Next time I’d rather pay out of pocket for my own tickets with a different airline than to deal with Delta again.

The staff a Delta Cargo were awesome to deal with. They called me ahead of my shipment (live animal) to let me know when it would arrive. They also gave me directions as maps often sends you the wrong way. I was in and out in under five minutes. Friendly and helpful staff is always appreciated!
