We just had a terrible experience at the counter. When we arrived there were two quills, one for baggage drop off and the other one for SkyPriority. There was a person from delta at the front assisting people, and, since we had a problem checking in our bags, she told us to go to skypriority line, which didn't really seamed to make a difference, because there was only one person in each line in front of us. They took a long time for them to check in the person in front of us, and in the mean time, the other line grew bigger. When it came to our turn, a lady called Yukee asked up front "are you sky priority?"! We said no, and try to explain what happened and that we had been directed to that line by a crew member, and she just kept saying we needed to go to the end of the other line because that line was exclusive to first class members, while raising her voice. The whole experience was really embarrassing.
It's very upsetting to been directed wrongly and not to be heard. Terrible way to start a journey.
