I showed up to the airport 3 hours early because I am flying internally and that was the recommendation. I cannot drop off my checked luggage, as there is no one on staff at the counter. There is a line of people waiting to drop bags but no one will help us. There appears to only be 1 flight today. It says ticket counter opens at 0400 which makes zero sense. 4 am tomorrow? I am unlikely to choose this airline again

I wish I could say more positive things about Delta Airlines. I don't like to post negative reviews. Like the majority of larger companies, it's become near impossible to seek assistance when it comes to speaking to a live person for a specific issue. I left my phone on the plane I was on. I completed the online form as per their policy as soon as I realized I had left it behind. This was in San Diego. I was able to trace it to the International Minnesota Airport. Able to track it in the same spot for 6 days. It remained in the same spot. I uploaded photos to add to my lost item report. I phoned into Delta after a couple of days to speak to a CSR. They advised me they couldn't even help with the issue. Provided me a phone number for the lost & found department at Minnesota International Airport. I've called the number a couple of times. Left a message. No response. It'll be 2 weeks tomorrow since I filed the lost item report. The CSR was quite polite over the phone. He assured me Delta is pretty good about finding lost items, left behind phones. They sweep a plane post flight each time before the next flight of passengers board. That this kind of thing happens all the time. A response of some kind from a live person would be great, amazing! This is becoming ridiculous at this rate. 14 days with photos of the protective case for the phone itself. A colour that's no longer available. A couple of various days with different dates showing my phone still being in the same spot. Surely they can ask their staff in that location to confirm whether the phone is there or not? Before I go out to buy a new phone.

Best airline at Oakland Airport is Delta Airline, for mostly their workers of 24/7 days, connection with other airlines and kindness with most pleasant passengers. Delta Airline is very expensive, so is their best, nice and precise services onto as well as nice, kindness and best passengers. Charging more money for baggage, seat and service within safety, fast and best cares on any Delta flights than other airlines in lowest prices.

My latest experience was ok. Other than my movie screen not working and gum on the arm rest that got all over my jeans, the flight was good. What I would like to comment on is the gate person who took offense to my suggestion that she uses caution when attempting sign language to Deaf passengers. I said, "As a word of advice, FU and thank you are two different signs that are very similar, and you definitely did not use the sign for thank you." I said something in the hope of stopping her from doing it again. She got super offended and said "well I'm sure they appreciated me trying." A member of the deaf community had this in response to my story I shared; sure, the deaf people think well "FU" for not knowing how to sign TU. People expect more from DELTA!

I was told by the representative I was messaging that I was able to check my bags in early the day before for the domestic flight. I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to get to the airport and was told no I can’t check in when I asked to look at the message from delta. The manager told me he does not have time for that he know the policy and does not matter what I was told!!!
