Delta has become complete trash. They forced me to check my carry-on when i get on the plane half the overhead bins are empty and then my computer gets damaged in the bag and they claim they are not responsible! They didn’t even give me an opportunity to take the computer out. Complete trash and yes i will be reporting them to the BBB. Don’t fly Delta!

Absolutely Shameful Behavior by Delta Staff – Especially Jan at Baggage Services I’m appalled at the treatment I received from a Delta staff member named Jan, who was sitting at the baggage services desk. My luggage arrived severely damaged, and I went in to file a claim. Jan didn’t even bother to stand up or inspect the damage. She sat there, completely uninterested, rude, dismissive, and dripping with condescension—barely acknowledging me as a customer. When I expressed my frustration, she had the audacity to say—to my face—that she would "take the complaint and also decline it." Who says that? That level of arrogance and blatant disregard for customer service is unacceptable. I calmly requested that she at least allow the complaint to go through proper channels, rather than dismissing it outright. Instead of showing any professionalism, she escalated the situation by calling the police on me. Over what? For asking her to do her job respectfully? The supervisor on duty wasn’t any more helpful, and I ultimately had no choice but to walk away without any resolution. I later found out that I’m far from the only person who’s had this exact experience with Jan. Seeing others echo the same issues makes me wonder how someone with such a track record is still employed—especially when her behavior seems to disproportionately target certain people. I personally felt the sting of racism in the way I was treated, and that is not something I say lightly. Delta, you should be ashamed—this kind of employee represents your brand at the ground level, and what I experienced was anything but humane or professional. Disgusting and shameful.

Spent almot TWO HOURS in bag drop line. They had ONE person for bag drops. She then clocked out and no one was running it for a solid 10 minutes. The agent asist line was empty but they won't take some customers to speed up. Props to one of the managers who came over and sped things up. They later started speeding things up and had more people. This shows they had the capability to, but just chose not to and have extra workers hiding. This is the bag check in for all of Delta and they treat it like it was a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Everything else went great though.

I recently traveled from Punta Cana to Las Vegas via Atlanta with Delta and encountered not only delays on both flights, but blatant discrimination, property damage, and unprofessional conduct from multiple Delta employees. Despite my fare including a carry-on and personal item, I was forced to check my carry-on in Atlanta, even though other passengers behind me were allowed to board with theirs. My partner and I were clearly profiled based on our national origin and sexual orientation, which is discriminatory and deeply offensive. I was told by the gate agent that Delta would cover any damage to my bag. When I arrived in Las Vegas, my bag was scratched and visibly damaged. I went to the baggage office to report it, where a rude Delta employee kicked us out, claiming the office was “too small.” We waited outside, only to watch her invite a white passenger inside right after us—an appalling display of preferential treatment. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she called the police on me, falsely claiming I was yelling and causing a disturbance. A witness who saw the entire interaction confirmed to the officer that I had done nothing wrong. This was not only humiliating but an abuse of power and an attempt to silence a valid complaint. To top it off, Delta refused to cover the damage to my bag, citing “wear and tear,” despite forcing me to check it against my will and giving me a false guarantee at the gate. This experience was degrading, discriminatory, and emotionally distressing. I have filed formal complaints and am pursuing legal action. I expected professionalism and fairness from a major airline—not targeted harassment and abuse. Delta, do better. This is not just poor customer service—this is a violation of basic human decency and civil rights.

The worst airline I’ve ever dealt with! No information whatsoever about flight cancellations — no email, no message, nothing. Absolutely terrible! I would never recommend flying with them.

I accidentally left my cell phone and ID in the Uber that brought me to the airport. Most of the staff all across the airport were amazing at helping me run across the airport TWICE to try and make my flight, which is the only reason I’m not giving one Star. I got to the Delta gate just as they were closing the doors and the last of the flight crew was leaving.The gate attendant told me, “yeah… you’re a little too late” and I need to be sure I’m sitting and waiting at the gate an hour before boarding begins. I tried to explain my situation, it she had zero empathy. She seemed to be on a power trip and even though she obviously could have gotten me on board, instead she moved my flight to 4 hours later. As someone in the hospitality industry in town for a major hotel conference, I can tell you a little service and compassion re-education is in order.

2/15/25 on dl807 back to NY I notice the plane right wing started smoking as we was leaving the gate. I asked a few passengers on board was this normal they said yes. I have been on plenty planes and never seen a right jet engine smoke white smoke at it .so I ask the flight attendant is the supposed to do this without looking flight attendant shook his head and continued walking up front . As we get to the runway the plane started smelling like gas and other chemicals but the gas smell was really strong I say to the flight attendant I smell gas . Again they ignored me. I yell another flight attendant what's that smell. They tell me they going to find out . As the plane is creeping to the runway . I panic stop the plane stop the plane we going to blow up it smells like gas . Plane goes in a lil frenzy plane stop captain comes out. Tells us they had a bleed system malfunction. Tales us back to the gate deplane the plane cause of the smells. Give us a 12 dollar voucher for a 9 hr delay ..if our plane would of took off lord knows what would've happened and am extremely freaked out about my ordeal. What a experience. . Delta please do better I saved half a plane and the captain knows this!! What would've happened to us if we would of took off Delta??

We stupidly left our phone on the plane. After a full-on Home Alone: Airport Edition, closing rings, sprinting around like headless chicken - we somehow found our way to Shawn (apologies if I butchered the spelling) in Lost & Found. She was incredibly kind, endlessly patient, and made a mountain of phone calls to help track down our runaway device. Apparently, our phone decided to take a little solo vacation in San Diego for the night before making its grand return to Vegas. But thanks to Shawn and the amazing Delta team, we were reunited at last and we’re forever grateful (and slightly humbled) by the whole adventure!
