On July 24, 2025, I purchased round-trip tickets on Copa Airlines (BOG–DEN via PTY). The itinerary was later changed without my consent, and I never received an email confirmation. The automated service does not recognize the reservation, and agents ask for more money for changes I never requested. I was told no refund is possible even if I cancel. I am requesting DOT’s assistance to restore the original itinerary, stop unauthorized charges, and obtain confirmation of the booking. I have documents showing payment and the original itinerary.

Terrible company, I arrived at an airport in Colombia ( a small quiet one that was empty!) And one hour before departure, they told me they can't check in my luggage as I was 3 minutes late,I missed my flight (that wasn't departing for 50 mins still )and had to pay $650 for a new one. I've taken over 100 airplanes in my life l. Never heard something so ridiculous. They offered me no help, and we're quite rude. I am a first time customer with COPA and will definitely be a last.

Loved this airline experience! Not only was our flight to and from Panama/Costa Rica comfortable and on time, we were even fed actual meals which is more than I can say for my friends who flew on United. My son left his phone on the plane in Panama (flying in from Costa Rica) they found it and immediately put it on a plane to Denver. The local staff were efficient and we were able to get it back 2 days after it was lost! Can’t say enough how blown away I am by this company, reminds me of how airlines used to be…customer oriented!

Absolute garbage. Flight got delayed 12 hours because of some technical problem with a light on the plane. No communication for hours. We missed our connection in Panama City. The desk attendants had no idea what they were doing. Gave conflicting information from one person to the next or gave information that doesn't make any sense. They offered hotel vouchers, took our names, and an hour later we still don't have any information. It's now 1:45AM, we're still waiting for those hotel vouchers so we can get some sleep before an 11AM flight, and they still can't tell us how we're supposed to get to Costa Rica without the connecting flight we missed. Update: finally got hotel vouchers at 3am, got four hours of sleep, got back to the airport and we're now being told they don't actually have a plane to accommodate the 11am departure, so we may have to wait another six hours. We'll miss an entire day in Costa Rica and the first night at the hotel I booked. Update: the second flight has now also been cancelled, they're giving out more hotel vouchers, and the next flight is alleged to leave tomorrow "between 10am and 1pm." I've now lost 25% of my vacation. Never getting anywhere near this company ever again. A complete clownshow that doesn't deserve anyone's business, and United should be ashamed to be associated with it.

I’ve been 1 hour and 15 minutes on the phone to simply change a flight(still on hold as I’m writing this). My parents were left waiting at the airport for nearly 10hrs as they kept postponing a flight and giving mixed and unclear information to the passengers. The absolute worst!

I've never flown with Copa Airlines before, and my experience was very pleasant. Would certainly fly Werth them again!
