What a horrible service This Airlines has. I bought a ticket last year that I have to cancel and it was left open . They told me to call any time to redeemed the credits I have to buy a new one. They forgot to let me know I have to keep the original reservation number in order to buy the ticket. The lady I talked did not give me any solution at all. So I just gave $450 dollars to Copa. I am pretty sure this will be the last time u am flying with them .

I no longer recommend this airline due to its inadequate support. The way an airline treats its passengers during unexpected situations truly reflects its values. I was a loyal customer of Copa Airlines, but my recent experience left me very disappointed. My 78-year-old mom had a flight (Flight number CM232) from Panama to Bucaramanga on July 12, 2025, with wheelchair assistance. Unfortunately, due to a storm in Bucaramanga, the airplane couldn't land and had to return to Panama. The flight arrived back in Panama and dropped off the passengers at 10:00 p.m., leaving them stranded for the night without any food, snacks, or hotel accommodations. The following day, they flew back to Bucaramanga at 7:30 a.m. My mom ended up spending the night sitting in an airport chair. I recall an experience with another airline, where our flight also couldn't land due to weather conditions. However, this airline handled the situation better by taking us to a hotel for the night and returning us to the airport the next morning for our flight. Copa Airlines demonstrated terrible treatment of its passengers in this situation, showing complete heartlessness and disregard.

This is the condition that Copa returned my brand new checked luggage. The lock was still on, no it hadn’t been searched, they broke open the zipper and not only did they allow me to pick my bag up like this, the woman said she didn’t see anything wrong with the condition. My bag looked like it had been thrown violently for hours. As if this wasn’t bad enough, the plane was disgusting, the flight attendants were rude, the food was inedible and gone bad. While waiting for a connecting flight we were held prisoners in a waiting area and denied any water etc with a small child then treated terribly when we asked for water on the plane. I have flown for 20+ years and I have NEVER from any airline had such a negative experience. From what I saw at the airport it was just Copa having issues, we saw another man after us have issues with his bag as well to which the “lovely” (read miserable rude) woman didn’t care either. It was a waste of my money and I would rather pay three times the amount for the same or even less just to not have to fly Copa ever again

Terrible experience with Copa Airlines. I had a ticket from Orlando to Medellín with a layover in Panama, but needed to stay in Panama for personal reasons. They refused to check my luggage only to Panama, saying it had to go to Medellín, even after explaining the situation. We spent over two hours at the counter in Orlando and got no help from the call center. As a result, my luggage stayed behind in Orlando, leaving me without it at my destination. This caused unnecessary stress for a 75-year-old passenger. In 2025, there’s no excuse for not accommodating such a simple request.

I had the pleasure of being checked in today by Celeste for Copa Airlines Flight 459, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment I approached the counter, she greeted me with a warm smile and a professional attitude that immediately put me at ease. Celeste was efficient, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything with my reservation was perfect. It’s rare to find someone who blends professionalism with genuine kindness so effortlessly. Copa Airlines is lucky to have someone like Celeste on their team she truly made the start of my trip smooth and stress-free. Five stars all the way!
