I visited Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum because it honors the Tuskegee Airman. I was given a tour of the grounds and delighted to know Compton youth are being trained to have flying careers. One 16 year old flew 8,000 miles cross country. Many helicopters and working airplanes are there.

The Airport has a beautiful aircraft history museum. Its a great place to hold functions. They are setting up flying lessons soon for young people looking for careers in flight.

Local airport, if you own a Sesna, you can take off from here. The airport itself has a nice collection of aircraft on display. If you want to take a quick trip to see some cool planes and helicopters, then this is the place.

Runway 25R/7L and taxiways are very bumpy and overrun with weeds. Not many people in the pattern which is nice. If you’re flying out of the 25 side or doing patterns make sure to stay out of Hawthorne’s airspace since it is very close
