I called to figure out whether we had paid for a checked bag for a return flight because the email seemed to indicate that we did and I was yelled at by a customer service representative apparently named Jenny (she said her extension was 110). I wasn’t even mad about having to pay, I was simply asking and she was immediately condescending and rude. “Do you REALLY think a checked bag for departure AND return would only be $48.90?!?” It was incredible how rude she was. If you purchase anything through this company, I pray that you don’t have any questions or apparently you just get yelled at.

Do not book anything on this website Cheap Fare Guru is the worst of the worst, i try to book a flight and after i realized that you only allowed a one bag on international flight i called customer services and i told them my situation, they promise me they will cancel it, and they will send me an e-mail, waited for the email confirmation that the reservation was cancelled, haven't receive anything after a month i received my credit card statement and they were a charge for $75.00 for cancellation Fee. so i called them back and they give me the run around. bad customer service, bad attitude, they treat customer like a $$$ sign, not like human being.

Extremely bad company to book thru my intermarry kept changing, and they kept emailing me even though it was about 3 months out will this is the week of my trip so i emailed back and confirmed as per their request We have been advised by the airlines about the schedule change in your flight (s). Please review the given flight information carefully and reply us back to confirm the changes so we can exchange/ re-validate your ticket (s). If you will not reply to the email, you might miss the flight. so I did they responded that they were going to issue a new ticket (mind you i can do this on United's website with out their assistance, and to add to that i can't even get a ticket till tomorrow as my flight is @ 6am on Friday !) they literally produced the same bill from United with their logo and then added a $25 re - issuance fee that they are trying to bill me for !!! They claim its in their T&C but i never was told this and it never appeared on anything that was presented to me !!! currently they can't collect their $25 fee because the card i used was comprised and destroyed but they don't have the new card. So far just off this interaction i wouldn't recommend anyone ever doing business with them they have more hidden fees than the damned airlines do If there was a negative rating i would leave a -5

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I accidentally booked through them because I thought it was the airline website. Shame on me for not paying attention to the details, but they are predatory. When I called to cancel within three hours of booking, they said a $50 fee would be charged because I hadn't purchased trip insurance. By law, airlines have to allow you to cancel within 24 hours, but since they are a "travel company" they can get around that.

A totally dishonest company to deal with. I booked a Canadian airline inside Canada flying to a Canadian city and they charged me USD currency. Unbelievable. And it had no mention of this until I submitted my payment and I noticed it in the flight summary. I canceled right away and it was supposed to be fully refundable. Supposed to be no such honesty again. They want 50 USD for their troubles. STAY AWAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM OR THEY WILL BURN YOU

Cheap Fare Guru is a scam! They steal money from you. I booked a flight to Canada. There was a strike and Air Canada rescheduled my flight but CheapFare Guru billed my credit card for $50.00 for changing my flight. I DID NOT CHANGE MY FLIGHT! Air Canada changed it because they were on strike in August.
